  1. Not too well know, but Cabelas Prodigy round reel is my favorite. Good drag, cast well, rarely birdsnests. On sale for less than 80 dollars. BPS Extremes are good when on sale too.
  2. I picked up Cabela's round prodigy reel shortly before the water got hard, so I really can't comment on longevity. The reel fits my hand nicely and casts a shallow shad rap size 5 very well(with the correct size rod). I did get to try the drag and it worked well on the few five pound bass I caught. I also have many low profile reels, this I want to use on cranks because of it's gear ratio. It's mostly a choice of preference. I'm happy with mine. Cost is $100
  3. Wouldn't it be easier to pee in the porta john at the boat launch?
  4. How about a Jeep?5 speed convertible, room for my dog in front, rods in back. Kayak strapped to the roll bar for both of us.
  5. I like the powerhump. Try it for awhile, if not, sand it down.
  6. Has anyone tried Cabela's Prodigy round reel? How about Shimano's Cardiff with 1/4 oz. lures? I tried Abu-Garcia's six bearing round reel, but the spool tension was tied into the magnetic brake, which I didn't care for. Thanks for the responce.
  7. I have had good luck with dahlburg divers, in rivers and channels for smallmouths
