Im sold on the Gamma copoly line it's been excellent on most of my reels 12lbs & 8lbs over the past 5 years. i also used the YZH brid over the years but lean more to the gamma line.
I have that same set up a 7' Med fast for most of my Cranking & a 7'6" Fast Crank rod for Lipless & deeper diving baits. I wouls suggest a 6'6' MH fast rod with a very soft tip for Top water, jerk baits & spinners.
I use Hi Vis Yellow 15 lbs Tuf line XP on all my spinning gear and I have caught a lot of 4-5 lbs bass with straight yellow braid with sharpie on about 12 feet of line. With the Tuf line XP I can feel the bullet weight slide up and down my line. This feeling is new to me after using sufix braid for the past 5 years
I have used my 7'MF Avid crank rod with a revo premier (12lbs gamma line) for Lipless cranks for the past few years and I haven't lost any fish with the fast action. I have not tried a MM action rod yet
I have use a Avid Med 7' fast rod as my Lipless rod for the past 3 years but I just recently bought a Kistler KLX 7'6" Med Heavy crank rip twitch rod as my new Lipless crankin rod cant wait for April.
