I agree with Kent. I'd pass. Maybe a eucha 7'2 in a lowrider? It's a Falcon. It will fish light. I have never wanted a 7'6 mh fast rod. In a dobyns that would be wanting a 735 and they offer you a 764.

This is probably of no help to you but I have one of the previous generation Tec-Spec spinnerbait rods and really like it for the price. $50.00 or so. It's a 6'8" medium fast so take it for what it is. Pretty irrelevant.

What? I picked up a "herm" Bucoo rod for $80.00 about two months a ago and I thought I stole that rod. You people make me sick! I know one of my Wally Worlds still have a few of these on clearance. If they have them for $25-30 I'll have a new spinning rod and you guys can buy the rest for $50.00 plus shipping!

Yep. They still make them. Just had one on monday. Speaking of FLW lures I miss the spinnerbaits with the mirro-chrome skirts. I still have a few and they are killer spinnerbaits!

The Tec Spec rods at Dick's Sporting Goods are pretty sweet for $60.00. I have a 6' 8" medium fast rod and I use it for just about everything. It's a good all purpose rod and the price is right.

Not sure on those (guessing Inferno) rods. For what it's worth I have a Tec Spec and love it. For $60.00 it's a great rod.

Thanks guys. I thought it was a starling but just wasn't sure. I think with him being so small (baby) makes it tough to identify. I wish I would of got a good picture of his mother before she took off. Edit: Went to check on him right after I posted this and he was gone so it looks like he could fly.

Does anyone know if this is a starling? My wife and I rescued it from our pool earlier today. We also had what I am guessing is his mother but she has since flown the coop. We put him in an old cage we had and put him on our balcony so he would be safe from cats and bears and eagles and what not. If his momma does not come back he will probably get taken in. Whats another bird or animal as far as that goes? Ever seen a elephant fly? I've seen everything, I've seen a bird swim. lol.

Make sure they clean and bead seal those aluminium rims when you get your tires mounted. That should take care of those slow leaks.

I've used smoke and green. Both worked well in the stained waters I fish.

If you have open water get some ballhead jigs. Pretty sure none of the sponsors offer any. Get whatever in whatever color. Use a grub for a trailer. Chartruese and dark grubs work for me. It'll get ya bit.

I toss them all together. Only problem I have noticed is an older Mann's frog, it is a white frog with chartruese legs and the legs have bled a little color on the frog. Not really a problem in my eye.

Get them. I have worn glasses almost all my life and getting prescription sunglasses has been some of the best money I have ever spent. It will change your life! I will never go without a pair again. I bought Bolle's from Wal-Mart about 8 years ago and have been lucky that my perscription has not changed at all. I finally talked my wife into getting a pair about a year and a half ago (she hates wearing glasses) and she also loves hers. If I remember right they were around $140.00 - $150.00 and we had them in about an hour and they come with a one year warranty. I had a pair of regular glasses that our puppy chewed on and they replaced them no questions asked. I'm pretty sure they had a better in store selection also. If you can afford it you will not regret it.

My wife loves to fish but that's also exactly what she does. Fish. She really doesn't care what she catches. Just a bobber or a sinker and some live bait. Rarely a lure but she has been known to use them. When we go out she uses my Spinning setup. $30.00 Abu reel, $40.00 Fenwick Venture, (I bought both on clearence and paid less than $40.00) and 20# Power Pro. She loves to use it. It's way more everything than she would ever want. Sensitive and light enough. Having said that if I was buying something just for her... It would be spinning because that's what she is used to and likes. It would not be pink unless I wanted punched in the face. It would be simple but effective. Decent rod and reel around $80.00 or less for both. Look for sales. K.I.S.S.

I know Catt's computer went splody and he dissapeared for a while. From what I remember he got a new computer and was supposed to return but never really did. Not sure about anyone else though. Frogg was a funny dude. Some of the people I wonder about are long gone and a lot of people probably wouldn't even know who they were. Some of the people I wonder about and miss the most (and yes I know the story on one or two of these guys). Muddy, Chris, LBH, Ceph Killer, Rattlin Rouge, and 5 Bass. I know Raul still posts but not nearly as much as he used to. I know there are more but that's it off the top of my head.
