  1. I also like these on the back of California style swim jigs.
  2. Sounds like it will also make a superb Lindy rig rod.
  3. Sounds like a great Senko rod.
  4. Gambler floating worms have been very productive for me over the years.
  5. I am very curious about this as well, as my situation is darn near identical...going on a week long trip next month. I plan on purchasing a bazooka rod holder, putting stick jackets on all rods, wrapping the tips with bubble wrap, and strapping the container to the luggage carrier.
  6. One of my best days ever pike fishing was with the Moss Boss. I was tossing the frog pattern in some pencil reeds in Ontario...just straight wore them out.
  7. Their green and brown rubber skirted jig is one of my all-time confidence baits...it helped me immensely when I was just starting out jig fishing.
  8. Looks like Prince is having a cervical fusion procedure done next week...TX just can't catch a break.
  9. Thanks Buddy.
  10. Another vote for a swim jig...they just flat out work.
  11. I recently purchased a pack myself. I am going on a smally/wally trip next month, and I am going to give the DB Craw a thorough workout in our cold waters.
  12. Any chance we see a Baby DB Craw in the future?
  13. I hear you. I went with the baby bass...too pretty to pass up. Lol. Now if our waters would warm up a little.
  14. Deps Buzzjet. A slow and steady retrieve.
  15. Nah, Raider is too articulate for Early...though there are some eerie similarities.
  16. Sounds like Carl from Aqua Teen Hunger Force.
  17. Yup yup, next to the Baby Rage Craw, swim jigs have been my most productive bait over the last two years. As much as it hurts to shell out a lot of dough for soft plastics, the Swing Impact is simply killer on the back end of a swim jig.
  18. A small Shad Rap in a natural pattern is definitely worth a shot when nothing else is working.
  19. I would definitely feel comfortable fishing the cell mate pattern in both...it really is unique. The bait has a soft knocker that should serve well.
  20. If you have crappie in your home lake, then definitely get one in Cell Mate.
  21. Megabass X7 Bearingdown Type X, and some Monoblock variant...either the Racing Viola or the Bespoke Evoluzion Topaz would be pretty sweet.
  22. I would definitely purchase the second one. The price is cheaper than a Zillion Type R. The Steez is an amazing worm and jig reel...go for it.
  23. I rarely fish a swim jig with anything else but the Swing Impact. Ssshhhhhh.
  24. Jerkbaits and topwater.
