Either way, it's nice to see them making a point to include the walleye fisherman; we're like the red-headed step-children of the soft plastic industry. It's usually all or nothing.
I just picked up a NIB lefty Daiwa Fuego baitcast reel, on that auction site, for $108.05. I was going to hold off to next summer for a new spinnerbait reel to match with a 7ft MH rod, as I have a few more pressing needs in my arsenal, but I just couldn't pass this up.
Hey Muddy looks like the Mets bolstered the pen today, landing K-Rod with a three year $37MM deal. Pretty cheap, considering the numbers that were tossed around a few months ago. The Halos will take possession of the Mets' #25 pick in the 09' draft.

The latest rumor is Kerry Wood to sign with the Indians, we'll see....
The rumorboards are filled with chatter about Peavy to the chubbies. God I hope this one falls apart, because that rotation would be downright scary.
Apparently the chubbies are also in "intense discussions" with Milton Bradley. Gulp.
Big trade today outta San Diego, but it doesn't involve Peavy. Looks like the Pads sent Khalil Greene to the Cards for relief prospect Mark Worrell and a PTBNL. Greene will make 6.5 mil in 09'. Ouch!
I think you'll be very happy with that rod. If you search the forums for feedback you'll see a lot of other people who are happy with their BPS Crankin' Sticks. Mine have really stood-up to a ton of abuse.
You could go a totally different route and go JDM. The Twin Power AR-C (import version of the Sustain) would look pretty sweet on the Cumara.

I really hope they up the ante and carry the Carrot Gold Stix. The 7'2" and 8' ML spinning models look like they have the potential to be killer slip-bobber rods, on paper at least. I just hope they have a soft enough tip to safely lob minnow/leech rigs.
For occasional work they will do ok. I would not use one as a full-time 'ski reel.
I would not use the E7 unless you plan on using it for finesse jigs/plastics. You'll want more gusto for pulling big blades and wooden jerks.
Half of the X-mas songs I hear at work are beautiful classics, remixed by todays R&B shmuks. I can honestly say I have heard somebody scratching Bing Crosby. It is so wrong in so very many ways. Uuuggghhh!
Nothing is wrong with the B. The Chronarch B is more of a powerhouse reel than the Mg. The BSV is geared for saltwater and large freshwater fish, as it has more line capacity. For the shallow cranks and jekbaits you posted about, well, another vote for the Mg.
I took adavantage of the sale at TW as well. I purchased a Chronarch 51 Mg, some plastics, and a ton of jigs for about two bills.
I bought some really nice candles for my mother @ Kohls dirt cheap too.
