I'm not sure if his line of BPS reels have been updated since they were first introduced. Either way, at the very least, the first run of these reels are junk.
Crap reels + skis = trouble, cussing, lost fish, lost baits, partner thrown overboard, etc...
I can't believe that contract....Lackey is not an ace...not for that kind of dough. It's about 2.5 million worse than Burnett's
Sounds like the M's get a year of Cliff Lee for a few guys from their stocked farm.
I use mine for 4' senkos, 1/4oz finesse jigs, and 1/4oz T-rigs.
If you're going to be throwing a lot of 3/8oz jigs, I'd go up to a MH. If you only toss them ocassionally, and usually stick with 1/4oz stuff, plus the plastic, This rod should be just fine.
I am interested in the same rod, but in the casting version. Do you think it can handle 1/2oz jigs?
I wouldn't use this rod for large jigs. A 1/2oz jig plus the trailer is pretty heavy, a bit too much for this stick.
I'm with you Dan, like a fast to mod-fast stick for frogs.
Like you said, it loads well. It also acts as a buffer in the event I set the hook too early, which is always a possibility when frog fishing...it's just so exciting.
I will never understand why someone would pay that much money for a single bait. I don't care how much it's worth or what the reason is, no bait should cost $1000. Those people are insane to pay that much for a bait.
To some this is art, and that is subjective.
That's what I do as well. Any time there is going to be a foreign substance in that air, I break out the old bed sheets.
Painting tarps or plastic will work great as well.
So the Crew picked up Wolf and Hawkins to bolster their rotation and pen. One more starter is a must, maybe the Hart for Maine rumor will come to light.
I would have liked to see them take a shot at Bedard. I still believe Mulder will be in Milwaukee's farm system by spring.
My guess is Lackey resigns with the Halos
One name could answer your question, and also answer the NFL's biggest bust simultaneously: Tony Mandarich. To this day, he is the only college player to make the All-Madden Team.
Our previous deliverer simply left boxes on a crossbeam on our mail/paper boxes.
One day I came home from work, and found a box containing a TD-Z, Fuego, and Zillion, all super-tuned. They had been sitting out there all day. I wasn't too happy to say the least.
GL2, GL3...no. There are better rods at their price points.
IMX, GLX...heck yes.
The BCR GLX, or the jig and worm series, are just crazy sensitive. And this is coming from a St. Croix guy.
Ice Armor, made by the Clam Fishing, has a very good reputation in the north.

Bow hunting gloves are worth a look as well. There are a ton out there, many waterproof, warm, and form-fitting.
The Gunfish is a great bait, it doesn't glide forward as far as other walkers...nice side-to-side action. The pike around here prefer them over the Sammy.
I'm drooling over the Rico Suave too.
If I'm not mistaken, I've heard good things about the RI Vixen as well.
The One Knocker Spook is on my list, as well as the new Sammy. I believe it's labeled as 105. There is a wooden Sammy out there too.
The Giant Dog-X has a ton of fans as well.
No prob.
I am in a similar boat, as I usually do not fish tubes with an exposed point. The majority of my bass fishing is done off of our dock, and in the grass.
I usually T-rig the ISG tubes with EWG hooks. Just a personal preference. 8-)
And HISTORY is HISTORY....... Football before the great depression.....really?? ...sheesh.
...... if it wasn't for 1996, ya'll wouldn't have had a thing to cheer about for almost 40 years!!!...........40 years!!!...........40 years!!!
b
......and the one thing you had left to cheer about......IS A VIKING NOW! (MVP, BTW :P )
(my boys must still be pretty popular ...aka "America's Team" if haters even start threads about them) LOL
If you get me in the X-mas exchange, send some of that crack you're smoking. ;D
