  1. Sorry I hadnt checked this out earlier. Prado may be a key to my whole fantasy season. I think I have him in all but 1 league I am in. He is solid. Escobar has his moments but is a good value later in the draft at SS. Solid player who should see an increase in RBIs batting lower in the lineup. No sweat. I stole Yunel way late, but missed out on Prado. I'm ticked because he is 1B, 2B, and 3B eligible in Yahoo leagues. Our league expanded a little this year, so to keep a fresh free agent pool, our commish dropped a bench spot or two. I forgot this would shorten our draft a few rounds, and incorrectly targeted Prado. I planned on taking him in round 22 or so...turns out we only had 20.
  2. Because Detroit needs an OT to protect their expensive new QB...but heck, what am I thinking, their front office makes about as much sense as t%ts on a bull.
  3. I've been curious about the Reaction sticks. Cranks have always been my bread-and-butter, and the last few years it seems like I've gotten away from them. This season I am going focus much more on crankbaits. Anywho, what's about max for the 7M Reaction?
  4. If I was a bettin' man, I'd say 'all in,' as they released Marc Bulger a few days ago. Some people say Clausen, but I don't buy it. I hope Sergio Kindle is available when the Pack picks at 23.
  5. I still use spinning gear for a lot of my walleye duties...at least until I can secure a Pixy and Presso.
  6. Atta Boy! ;D
  7. A sliver of pork can be deadly on hair jigs.
  8. I've got a cure for that fever, and no, it's not more cowbell...PLAY BALL!!! As much as I hate the bo sox, I have Beckett on the mound tonight.
  9. ISG does make a fantastic tube. Nothing in the 3.5" size yet. The Intimidator and Dream tubes are 4", and the Mini Intimidator is 2.75". 8-) As for the OP, My best producing 3.5" tube has been YUM's Vibra King finesse tube.
  10. The 'sneaky' pattern looks fantastic!
  11. Several 36"-48" pike would be just fine by me...heck, it would be downright awesome.
  12. Yup yup. The E2 will land, and stay, upright much more than the Spot Remover. Although the Picasso is my favorite shaky head, I agree it has no place in this debate.
  13. My partner used to school me with a cheap spinnerbait that Northland used to make.
  14. Very cool. Have a great season. 8-)
  15. I was curious if those Banjo Minnows I see on tv are good enough to catch bass? What is the best lure?
  16. I wouldnt ever buy a bait just because it says they glow. There really isnt a use for a glowing bait it is only a tactic for the companies to make a little money off of you. I don't know about that. There have been many days where, through the ice, panfish will only hit something that glows.
  17. I am spooled up with H2O and so fair seems good. I just have not used it long enough to make a proper assessment. Please keep us updated. As for the op, I love Power Pro. Most of my walleye rods are run with braid. One thing I did find out, is if you are fishing small lead heads, use a leader...I have had itty-bitty walleye jigs get stuck/snagged many times, and pulling on the rig, with braid, is a busted rod waiting to happen. A small diameter fluoro leader will snap, and I don't have to lose a bunch of braid by cutting my line.
  18. Which Gander is in your neck of the woods.
  19. LOL. I thought the same thing; it does look like a kiddie toy. ;D
  20. I've casted the heck out of the 8lb, and it's worked flawlessly for me.
  21. I have an old Calcutta 51, and it's a lot of fun to cast. I use mine on a cranking rod, and am quite happy. I think this reel shine with cranks, and slow-rollin' blades. Not sure about 1/16oz jig and plastic...maybe with the right rod and a big plastic trailer.
  22. I bit presumptuous, no? For the record, I'd take a Hula Popper over this bloated dog turd any day.
  23. For Staycee's and Pointer 100 DD's, I use a Kistler Helium 5'9" MH with a Fuego. For Pointer 78 DD's, I use a 6'9" M Helium with a Shimano Chronarch Mg51. For Rouge's, Husky Jerk's, etc., I use a Steez 6' M and a 6'3" M Helium, both 51Mg's.
  24. This ad keeps getting better and better. A few days ago I saw the brunette in the small ad, on the top of the screen. I thought 'mmm, a trashy-hot cougar...she looks filthy.' Now we have a full frontal body shot of her on the left of the screen. Life is saweeet!
  25. How big is GY's Baby Craw?
