  1. Awesome. I hope they serve you well. Merry Christmas.
  2. I am in the 'short rods for topwater' camp. For the baits you listed I use a few combos: a Kistler LTA 5'9" MH with a Daiwa Fuego; a 6'2" MH Carrot Gold with a Daiwa Zillion; and a Loomis Bronzeback 5'10" MH with a Curado 201E7. I generally use 10-12lb Yo-Soft.
  3. I sent mine out USPS priority this past Monday. I am hoping it found my partner safe, and he is waiting until X-mas to open the goodies.
  4. Awesome!!! Talk about awesome.
  5. Brother, you are itching for a teabag.
  6. It depends. Of the two, I would prefer the butt heavy rod for tip-up presentations. I would prefer the tip heavy rod for tip-down presentations.
  7. The Chronarch B reels seem to have more slop than any of the other Chronarch configurations.
  8. Understood. I thought the question was referring to the Antares, and its equivalentlant.
  9. A Conquest 101DC...can you read this Shimano USA?!?!
  10. Amen
  11. I've been good this spending season: only five sets of OS ABEC 7's from Boca.
  12. Lurenet has the original Dingers for $1.89 a pack.
  13. I keep them in their original bags, then organize them in several Plano XXL 7080 boxes:
  14. Walleye guys and gals, around these parts, still swear by the stuff.
  15. Don't forget the PX Type-R and PX 68; great reels right outta the box.
  16. I'm a big fan of this one too:

  18. I like to T-tig them with a 1/4oz bullet weight. Outlet has all of their Kut Tails, including the 10" model, for $3.99 a pack.
  19. ...and my #1 on a shakeyhead. In my hands they seem to have a better, more subtle action than the Berkley handpours. IIRC, the Berkley worms are a bit stiffer.
  20. Perhaps because they know his high-end sticks wont have reel seat/cork failures.
  21. R&D. It's quite easy for a company, who did not invest much money into research and development, to knock-off a bait and offer it at a low price.
  22. It depends on the desired application. If it's a crankin' combo, then the reel. If it's a jig/worm combo, then the rod.
  23. Way too funny.
