I picked up Storen while he was still on the DL. I wonder if him coming back is the cause of Clippard's problems? Clippard has been a STUD since taking the reigns from H-Rod, but he has looked almost as bad as Casilla lately.

My brother picked up Cordero over the weekend.

If I didn't have a No Cub rule, he would probably be on my team right now. Lol. Good call on Jair; I don't trust him. Blackley has has a great month. I dropped Wandy about 30 minutes ago to create an open spot. I then picked up Bailey, stashed him on the DL, and made a claim on Storen. I have Clippard, and I'll be damned if some pulls the rug out from under me on that one. I also missed out on Sergio Romo today. We don't have holds, so he was available. After Casilla's struggles, I had planned on picking him up...but someone beat me to it.

I here you, I'm generally not a big fan of change on my team either. I couldn't say no to those offensive numbers...Rios has been a stud all year, and combined with A-rod, the #'s dwarf Beltre's.

Johan's ankle is good, and I went ahead and accepted the trade. I accepted another trade yesterday. My buddy offered A-Rod, Alex Rios, and Hanrahan for Beltre and Haren...I accepted that one almost immediately. I hate losing Beltre, but I couldn't say no to tose numbers. My buddy is putting a lot of his eggs in Haren's basket. I'm just glad I could sell high on him, as he's been a waste of a high draft pick so far.

I am holding off to see how Santana's ankle does today. I am in a 12 man H2H, so like in your league, closers are thin. I have Casilla, Clippard, Street, and Janssen. Though Johnson said he'll stick with Clippard after Storen comes back, I have a feeling one or two slips and he'll be yanked. Janssen could be back to the 8th when Santos returns, and Street may be traded to someone looking for depth. Lopez and Hernandez are both available, and I've been checking trade rumors at least once an hour. Lol. Gotta love some Hot Stove. Hopefully there will be an update on Johan's ankle today.

I thought about it too, but he will not be eligible until the end of the month. Ozzie just said they are going to committee. I had an open spot after Haren went on the DL, so I picked up Cishek. I was just offered Johan Santana for Santiago Casilla, and am mulling that one over. I could use a SP, but may be losing a closer if Street is traded.

Lots of chatter so far, and the stove is heating up. J Up may be leaving Arizona, Hamels and Greinke, Street, Prado...

Yup, lol. It makes me feel a little better that I skipped over Beachy in our draft. Is Chris Davis available in you league? I've had him stashed on the bench, as he is eligible at 1B, 3B, and now OF. As terrible as Pedro Alvarez has been, he's been pretty hot as of late. At SP, it looks like Masterson has finally put it together. Burnett has been a surprise. I may be picking up Benoit from Detroit if Valverde misses any more time. I may be losing a closer if Storen usurps Clippard.

For sure. There has been a rash of SS injuries this year, and our waiver wire is growing thin. I've had Bonifacio on the DL for weeks.
