    If I'm fishing for pike, or waters that are predominantly filled with pike, then a closed loop: they are a necessity when fishing with a leader.

    It's not always temporary...many people suffer from severe depression and anxiety their whole lives.As mentioned before in this thread...many people who take their own lives want the pain to end...not necessarily their lives.

    Ha! Couldn't agree more. Now if only Shimano would make the Tranx in a southpaw model, I would have my ultimate bucktail reel...of course I'd just have to buy a new LE ski stick. Lol.

    Going to see Phish in Mexico come January, so some Simms gear...sandals, shorts and shirts. An X7 Super Eiger would be sweet, as well as a rod rated up to at least a few ounces...a SB White Python would be the bee's knees.
