I posted a link to some pictures my buddy posted at his blog last week from the pond behind the house. Well, this week we went down to Kissimmee to bust on some bream and he took some more. It is hard to beat a day on the lake with the kids. Especially, when you have the pictures to prove. http://fladuckdays.blogspot.com/2011/05/bustn-bream.html Incidentally, this was the same day that Lee (Fishindaddy) was tearing them up in Lakeland. He saved the gas money and had a more productive trip. But the wind was blowing hard, and I'm not a terribly experienced bream buster.

she schooled me too! i caught all of five eating size bluegill and not a single bass.

i was in a 2 day 100 boat tournament last week and the top boats were all doing very different things: cuts, flipping grass, offshore hydrilla in toho, and on... i caught 15lbs and 19lbs and finished 14th fishing in cypress, but i didnt catch a limit either day. the bass are definitely staging out, and there is lots to catch their interest on the way there.

is this for a tournament or for fun? outside grass lines and cuts.

MESSI!!! Oscar, I'm sure you know by now it was FX. It was a terrible game. Thugsville from RM, followed by an undeserved red for Pepe. The ref was playing makeup for letting it get out of hand. Messi's 2 were shockingly Messi. footytube.com is my fav for replay action. Lee, I asked H why he kept falling so much, and he said he was wanting them to call a foul. So... I hate watching professional sports. Well, I have watched my fantasy football live stats update on many a Sunday afternoon, and even went to watch the games on Superbowl Sunday... Fantasy Football superbowl Sunday that is. I have always been a person who loved to play sports, but hated to watch. But now my five year old has taken up, with great gusto, the sport that was far and away my favorite to play I am HOOKED! And... I would contend that though this will fall on mostly deaf ears. And... Though I would acknowledge that most folks in this forum would not fit the profile of fans of this sport. I would contend that... with minimal exposure to the game and its merits that a high percentage of you would also be hooked on SOCCER, FUTBOL, FOOTY... The world's game. This is a great time of the year to watch too... the Leagues are coming to the close of their seasons, and while positions at the top are closing there are some mighty races for the right to play in champions league next year, and some vicious battles to stay in the top leagues, and not be relegated to the "minor leagues". Also, the playoffs for the Champions League are happening. The Champions League is a common League made up of the top teams from the Premier Leagues, and they are not just playing to win, they are playing to win big. thanks. i was messing around with a shaky head jig on some very fresh looking brush piles in 25ft. coordinates are on the way of course lee. im still a little skeptical about that shaky head bait. i mean, you rubber band the m80 to it, and after the very first one the paint starts flaking off. im just glad you weren't there to steal my thunder corey.

Thanks for the recommend Tim! I have been wearing out the bluegill and shellcrackers, and i am surprisingly unembarassed! GO PANFISH! (and occasionally i put them on a good bass or two... see above)

thanks Tim. my youngest two were cheering me on. my crazy red head laying under the console shivering, and saying, "catch another big one, daddy!" my five year old son was standing next to me on the deck soaked through, blue lipped and pointing out spots he thought i should pitch it into. we celebrated in the car with the heater cranked to the floorboards. they huddled on the passenger side and thawed out.
