  1. I really like these reals, I use the 6730 for dropshotting, and shakeyhead fishing. But overall they are a really nice real.
  2. Is the action of these 2 rods the same or does one seem to be a little stiffer than the other. for example a gloomis fast the same as a st.croix mod/fast. or the other way around.
  3. What is your opinion of this rod for fishing 1/4 to 7/16 oz jigs and texas rigs.
  4. YUM, Live Prey Technology or LPT, This stuff is Awesome, I watched a Bass Pro Shops tank seminar and the guy was using a Yum Houdini worm with a hook that was bent over of course, they frown on catching there tank fish, and a bass bit the worm and would not let it go the guy thought he had caught the fish there for about 30 seconds, and that was only with what comes in the soft plastic, just imagine if you spray the worm down with the YUM spray. The guy doing the seminar was very impressed. Why LPT, it simulates the release of live baitfish enzymes, which triggers feeding habits of bass, walleye, crappie, and other gamefish.
  5. I was wondering if anybody changed there settings on there sonar or do you leave it factory set. The main one I am concerned about is the sensitivity. I fish clear to lightly stained water. If anybody has a setting that they like please let me know. On all settings thanks
  6. The same company, Pradco owns Bomber and Excalibur, about 4 years ago they changed the name of the Excalibur to Bomber and there still called the fat free shad series. Those are really sharp hooks. The website is lurenet.com
  7. RW, What weights do you use on this rod, and what lb of line, what type of soft plastics. ES70mf
  8. I have a 7ft med/hvy fast tip, I was wanting to know if there was a better rod for 1/4 or 5/16 oz jigs.
  9. What do you think about this rod for fishing small jigs, texas rigs.
  10. Is there a certian water temp in the spring that is better or what is a good water temp. also I fish a lake that has really good smallmouth, you can really catch them good during the week but when the weekend roles around, or I should say a tournament. The bite gets tough. What could a guy do to catch them big smallies under some high fishing pressure.
  11. Does anyone fish wiggle warts for smallmouth, when is the best time, and what colors do you like.
  12. If you had one soft plastic bait to rig in the spring, what would it be. say prespawn. I fish in Oklahoma. Deep clear lake with Largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass. Thanks
  13. Hey, Brokejew, check out the bedbug from booyah. handtied jig with live rubber. Really a good looking jig.
  14. Your fishing a really good jig already, with the booyah. they have some really good prices on the web page lurenet.com, under internet specials.
  15. If the water is not real dirty try a suspending spoonbill rogue in a firetiger or something bright, and on your jig try the big 4 inch black/blue YUM crawpapi. I am also from down that way Lone Wolf. I live in tahlequah now. One more bait, try a chart/white spinnerbait,1/2ounce, but you need a #5 or 6 Indiana blade and if you can find one with a little red colorado on it in front of the indiana blade that is a big fish spinnerbait.. I have had most luck with the booyah.
