  1. The baby craw is one of my favorite drop shot baits. I usually nose hook it with a circle hook.
  2. My favorite dropshot baits are the ragetail baby craw and the baby thumper. Small baits with great action always get bit.
  3. I've had great success fishing the rooster weightless with a slow retrieve so it swims just under the surface like a wake bait. It gets hammered.
  4. I use rage tail menace, grub, cut-r worm, baby thumper worm, craw, lobster, or baby craw. Rage tails are great for swimjigs!
  5. Fork has been tough for me this year, but I'd suggest starting really shallow for the first few hours of the day. Fish frogs if there's any vegetation. As the sun gets higher move out to stumps in 10 to 15 feet of water near creek channel drops. You'll know where the major points are, because there will be several boats on each of them throwing deep diving cranks.
  6. I caught a few fish with it. I was steadily and slowly reeling it just fast enough so the tail fin poked out of the water. I don't know if it got too hot or what, but the bait split down the back in my tacklebox.
  7. I've been having better days on Lake Ray Hubbard than I have on Lake Fork. I'm not sure how many more times I'm going to drive all the way out to Lake Fork to catch just a couple fish, when I can catch fish all day on Hubbard.
  8. I'm loving the bug. Its a great bait. So far I've fished it t-rigged and on a drop shot. Next time I'm out I'm gonna have to try it rage-rigged and as a jig trailer
  9. I got to fish the Rage Bug for the first time yesterday. This bait is awesome! I fished Lake Ray Hubbard and found some fish on the rocks just like last time. I was fishing a watermelon/red rage bug with the long flaps dipped in chartreuse JJ's Magic. I caught a few fish with this bait on a 'brass and glass' drop shot and the rest I caught fishing it t-rigged. Didn't find any big fish but I caught a couple dozen fish up to 3lbs.
  10. I hope they eventually come out in honey candy and green pumpkin/gold/purple!
  11. The wait is killin me! I'm glad to hear that they'll be available soon!
  12. My friend Sherman and I had a great day on Lake Ray Hubbard yesterday. We caught most of our fish on green pumpkin/purple/gold baby thumpers fished on a drop shot with the tails trimmed slightly and dipped in chartruese JJ's magic. We also caught a few on spinnerbaits with menace trailers.
  13. The rage tail grub is my favorite, but when I run out of those I use the back half of a rage tail cut-r worm and it works REALLY good too!
  14. Hey Everyone, Haven't posted over here in a while. Thought I'd share a fish I caught a few weeks ago. She was 6.5lbs and angry. Caught her on a rage -rigged Honey Candy Rage Tail Recon.
  15. I use megastrike to lubricate weed gaurds. (and plastics)
  16. Rage shad for sure! Caught my pb on it this past march. (pic in my avatar) The eeliminator would be my 2nd favorite.
  17. I'll be bass fishing as much as I can through the winter. The only time I've seen ice on my lake was when I spilled my drink. Winter bass are FAT and easier to find.
  18. Smokey Shad is my favorite color. I caught my pb (pic to the left here) this past March. The great thing about the RT shad is that you can cast it up on the bank or on the grass mats and then start the retrieve without making that impact splash from the bait hitting the water. They'll hammer it within a second or two after it reaches the water quite often.
  19. Rage Tail Lobster - it's my #1 trailer in cold water. It gives a slow fall and the action gets bit, especially in cold water.
  20. I'm in texas and the winter is short, but I keep fishing through it. There have been days when I slid my jon boat down a snowy bank because the ramp was frozen over. Caught some nice bass so it was worth it.
  21. 1. 3/8 oz KVD swimjig (bluegil color) w/ rage tail grub trailer in green pumpkin with the tip dipped in chart. JJ's magic. 2. 1/2 oz booyah boo jig (brown+black) with candy craw or big tex Rage Tail Lobster trailer 3. Rage Tail Shad in Smokey Shad
  22. Yeah, I've been punching the menace and it works great!
  23. I'm so glad the gp gold/purple/blk is finally going to be available in stores. I've been wearin' em out with this color for a while, it's a winner!
  24. I've had a few strikes on buzzbaits and rage tail shads just as I was pulling the bait out of the water, each of them scared the crap out of me. That last second strike at the boat makes me jump every time. I love it
  25. This little bait is a fish catching machine. One of my favorites for sure and the new ragetail colors are amazing. The twin tail menace also works well as a swimjig trailer- I like to rig it with one tail above the other, so it's vertical and looks like a baitfish tail fin. It's a killer bait on the drop shot as well.
