  1. What Power/Action? They are so light Im wondering what the backbone is like? I am actually very interested in these now that I know they come in a M/M.
  2. Looking to upgrade a bit and get 4 new combos. I really want to get 4 of the same rods and 4 of the same reels, Just in different actions for different applications. Im wanting a 7' H/F, a 7'MH/F, a 7' M/F and a 6'6" MH/F all in casting. I was at BPS today and got a feel for just about every rod there that is in my price range. Most of the setups I have are 3-5 years old, uncomfortable and heavy. After holding the Carbonlite rods and a few others, I am really itchin' to spend some cash! I am not deadset on the carbonlite line, but I do want something light like that. Has or does anyone use these rods? If so, how do you like them? I also held the Falcon Original series rods and liked them as well. Not as light, but alot lighter than anything that I have. I used to have a couple Shimano Clarus rods that I liked before I sold them. They were the older style with the cork grip. The ones I held today seemed a bit heavy. I am trying to spend 100$ or less per rod. Any input on the rods I mentioned or on any suggestion you may have is greatly appreciated. Thanks yall. 6 years ago I owned 6 crucial/citica setups, a Revo S and a Symetre/Compre combo. I lost interest in fishing and in a moment of stupidity sold them ALL for NOTHING compared to what I spent on them.........The guy I sold it all too was looking at me like I was crazy the whole time we were making the deal. Definitely learned a life lesson there!
  3. The jig itself will aid in the posture of the claws. For instance, a football jig hook is flat on the ground at rest whereas a brush style jig head stand the hook up showing the claws to facing up as well. Rage craws are not bouyant on their own but on a brush jig the claws will sit upright and slowly fall down. They do stay up for a good 10 seconds though. Hope that helps. If your wanting something that just plain floats up 24/7, the zman flappin craw will do the trick. anything elaztech for that matter will float.

  5. It pains me to watch Jerry the GM run the cowboys into a brick wall year after year. I finally stopped getting worked up over it and came to this short but true conclusion that I remind myself frequently. As long as Jerry is running things, which will be until he dies, literally, the Cowboys do not have much of a chance of winning anything past week 16. The reason being is Jerry can not make the necessary moves to create a supporting cast for Romo to be successful. That being said, I dont believe Romo is the answer. BUT he is not the problem either. He is harshly criticized for doing things most other "elite" QB's would do in pressured situations. There are some times when it is totally his fault, but every play makes mistakes. How can a QB be successfull without an O line to protect him and no run game to help setup the pass game? Romo does one HELL of a job escaping would be sackers, in and out of the pocket. He is probably one of the best QB's in the game at getting away from pass rushers behind the line of scrimage. I have a headache from repeating myself year after year. Almost to the point where I would rather not talk about it.....Go Cowboys!
  6. What this guy said. That is my tacklebox in a nutshell. To make it even easier- get some 7" ribbon tail worms, 1/4-3/8oz white/chart spinnerbaits, soft jerkbaits like flukes and some squarebill cranks like KVD 1.5. If color selection is an issue, heres my suggestion. Get a couple in a natural color like bluegill or sunfish and get some in brighter colors like chartruese black back and chrome sexy shad. Get what catches your eye, thats part of the fun. Good luck.
  7. 6 packs Yum Houdini shad, 5 War eagle 3/8 oz white/chartr spinnerbaits. 1 pack Strike King Shim-e-sticks in shad color. All 1.50 per item from walmart. 3 packs Rage Recon in GP, 3 packs 7" Rage Anacondas in GP. 4 packs Rage craws in Falcon craw and 2 in Summer Craw. 2 packs 4/0 EWG offset Gamakatsu. 2 packs 4/0 Offset round bend Gamakatsu.
  8. obviously you haven't done enough reading about elaztech. I van take an 8 inch worm, stretch it to say 24 inches, and it doesnt rip or tear at all. Goes right back to original shape. The first time you hold anything elaztech you will understand.
  9. 5 bucks for an 8 pack that will last bare minimum 120 fish. Doesn't seem so out of line to me. Check them out on YouTube. Dropped in a tank with no hook, weight or line attached and they float straight up.Good luck finding something that fits your needs!
  10. Booyah and strike king spinnerbaits. Siebert and northstar jigs. strike king, zoom, netbait, yum, zman plastics.
  11. Just went to another walmart and found 6 packs of yum Houdini Shad 1.50 each.
  12. If your wanting your moneys worth, check out Zman Elaztech baits. Incredibly durable. 1 worm can last 30 fish. I just recently bought some 6" saw tail Zman worms. I have been fishing a pond and the fish wont hit anything but a worm. Started with some rage tail Thumpers and while they are my favorite brand, they are not known for great durability. So after I ran through a pack of Thumpers I put on a saw tail and continued catching fish without any difference. I am very interested in this brand and will be ordering some more saw tails in 6" & 10", Palmetto Bugz, Flappin craws and some 4 & 6" Swimmerz. Check em' out! You might like them.
  13. Mine might have been the mother load. Yum Money Hounds and frogs,Roughly 100 Rebel squarebills. 100 Pop-r's. Tons of TINY Cotton Cordell cranks and various rooster tails, weights, some weird senko type stick baits, Yum Wooly bugs. What did I walk away with? 5 Chart/white 3/8 oz War Eagle Spinnerbaits. 1.50 each. Never fished War eagle but I know many of you like them. Too good to pass up given the reputation even though I have too many spinnerbaits already. Everything in all 3 bins were 1.50.
  14. Bad-A!! Now I don't have to order from you, then go to TW or bps in store and get my trailers. Man this is awesome.
  15. The menace is the ultimate swim jig trailer. I trail them behind a Siebert elite swim or a NSCB flip and swim. That's my go to grass technique!!
  16. Love the recon worms. I'll be tossing them at fork on Wednesday looking for a trophy. Nice buy!
  17. I'm in. heading to fork a few times in April which is where the state record is held. 18 lbs is a pretty big number, but I'll give it a shot!!!!!
  18. Not saying either is better cause that's personal opinion. Rage lizards have more action than any lizard ever invented in history. That's a Fact.
  19. Without that tray the claws will get bent and will not produce the best action.
  20. Rage lizard. I only c rig when I feel I have to. But when I do, the rage lizard is the only plastic I have ever had success with. As far as action, the lizard might be the best in the lineup IMO.
  21. Continue........
  22. Their squarebills are a great buy. Check em' out!!
  23. 1/2 oz mostly.
  24. Yum Dingers and Ochos are the closest to Senkos. I prefer the dingers if Im not fishing GYCB. I usually stick with the original though.
