Basspro offers 2 rods under 50. Neither of which have split grips. Graphite series and tourney special. Both great budget rods. the next one up is the bionic blade which has split grips I believe it is 60 something. Then there is the extreme which is 80. The tourney special, bionic blade and extreme go on sale often.

I think the Silva Sonnen fight was called a little to quickly. Dissapointing for sure. I do think its funny though that Chael lost after all the talking he does. It reminds me of something my mom and dad told me when i was little. You usually dont have to worry about the loud ones, its the quiet ones who are the most dangerous.

I have used both Moderate and fast action for cranking. I did land more fish with the moderate action but still had a few shake free. I think it is inevitible when fishing with treble hooks. You will lose fish plain and simple. Maybe less though with a moderate action.

More power to you brutha, love what you love! To the OP, I wonder the same thing. Most people are happy with their reels and manufactuers but Shimano guys let the world know. It bothersme sometimes but i usually just laugh it off. What i dont like is when someone asks about a reel for 80 bucks and you get someone telling them to spend the extra cash and get a citica because it will last longer cause its a Shimano. Or when someone asks for a review of the Pro Qualifier and you get replies suggesting buying a Curado. IMO Shimano guys= NY Yankee fans

Im gonna need to give War eagle a try. I have always thought they looked cheap and flimsy and the skirt looks thin. I need to see what the hype is about. For me its simple. Strike king, Booyah or H20 which is the Academy house brand. The H20 really arent bad baits. They make decent SB and crankbaits.

So my wife is working late tonight and im home with my little ones. Got them both fed and bathed and put my little girl to sleep and after working all day on top of that im exhausted. I went in the kitchen to get some food and realized we need to go to the store. I just started eating and stopped when i got full. Heres what i ate...... small tv dinner steak and potatoes ( was a smaller than a hamburger patty with some tator tots) 1 sunkist 2 mini m&m cookies 1 tortilla 2 pork tamales from Mexico we got on vacation a month ago 1 more mini m&m cookie half glass of milk I started eating "right" about 3 months ago for 1 month straight and lost 16 lbs. For some reason i got tired of it and it just faded. I need to start again. Im not large, just a little overweight at 6'2 219 lbs. Any of yall eat like crap too? If you "dieted" or just ate better, how did you stay on track when the healthier food starts to get old?

Man i heard about this for the first time today and im shocked!!! Since I watched their original fight I have been waiting for a rematch. I will either order it or head to hooters with some friends and watch it. Sonnen is a warrior but Silva was clearly the seasoned vet their first bout. Silva isnt called the best pound for pound fighter in the WORLD for no reason. I dont see Silva getting beat. He is just way too good. Kind of like betting against MJ in his prime its just not smart.

The maps between the 2 arent different. You can adjust the travel time by shortest distance in miles or shortest distance in minutes on either. I like the picture of the garmin way better than the tom tom, it is much more detailed and Garmin will show you the exact lane you need to be in. I use a GPS about 8-17 hours a day for work and my Garmin Nuvi has never let me down.

Rattle trap or a senko. One can cover active fish, the other covers innactive. Of course there are a few others but these just stick out for me.

Put the boat in the garage. Take a shower. Eat. Watch tv. IN THAT ORDER ONLY.
