    Giant Worms.

I couldn't agree more... Big Worms are often THE TICKET for the BIG BITE! Below is a link where Greg Hackney set the all time tournament 3 day heavyweight record of 109lbs 6oz on Falcon at the FLW east/west fish off in '08. Had he fished a 4th day with that average, he would've beat 145lbs. His main bait was the 10" Rage Anaconda, it has an overall profile/footprint that makes it look HUGE in the water. Sometime back, I had a banner day with the 10" Thumper Worm with my best 7 fish weighing over well over 70lbs, running out of worms by around noon and had to leave'em biting! Big Worms will always be in my boat regardless of the water I'm fishing. http://www.flwoutdoors.com/bassfishing/flwserieswest/tournament/2008/6044/east-west-fishoff-headline-story/149365/hack-blasts-past-the-pack/
  3. Didn't weigh her Darren... But I did talk sweet to her and rub that belly a little before turning her loose and getting back in the boat
  4. There hasn't been any talk of it that I know of... would be interesting color though!
  5. Just Got MINE Thanks MIKE, they're AWESOME and going to work IMMEDIATELY BTW... The price for the quality of these jigs is rediculous GOOD...
  6. Rage Chunks are great for them and the Baby Rage will down size it even more plus add to the fall rate...
  7. Ck out this link photo and hook your toad as shown without excessive bow when skin hooking and it should run OK. Centering the hook is important... If this doesn't work for you the legs or appendages are probably deformed causing the spinning. A light weighted hook will take care of it and add distance to your cast as well. Hope that helps! http://www.ragetail.com/news/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/toad_diagram750.jpg
  8. They'll eat it for sure... caught a lot of slobs on bitsy bugs just be careful during the fight not to put too much pressure on the small hook!
  9. Sometimes a Guy's gotta do what a guy's gotta do So I DID After Flipping a Falcon Lake Craw colored Rage Hawg in timber and a strong hook set... The fish was happy to stay out of trouble until she got close to the boat and then it was FLAME ON! A quick turn later and she headed straight into a nearby set of sticks and wrapped me about 4 ft deep. She was tired and the braided line had slipped under a crack in the stick, with her snugged up too tight to free herself. I hate breaking them off like that because of the chance of a fish being stuck for good and potentially doing harm to them, so in I went I was able to kick her loose without going completely under and didn't even get my hat wet It made for a good Photo anyway Been fishing quite a bit and trying to keep up with everyones post here too... Hope the Fall Fishing is coming on strong for all of you as well!!!
  10. That's a Good one Paul, WTG!
  11. Green Pumpkin is great and the most versatile. It can be also adjusted with any color dip n dye to adjust if necessary. Dip or touch it up with a q-tip if needed. The basic Summer Craw, Falcon Craw, Okeechobee Craw and Blue Craw swirl are all possible as well as tipping any tails etc... Chartreuse, red and blue are all you'll need with dip colors...IMO.
  12. Brush style head is the most versatile IMO...
  13. That ONE has a really great shape with the deep chest area and big belly WTG and stay on'em!
  14. Yes, give it an extra moment to attain the desired depth because the fall will be a bit slower... Ck a medium retrieve speed beside the boat and notice that the 1/2oz rocks back and forth considerably. I normally throw a 3/4 to 1oz and use it in situations where spinnerbaits or slightly larger profile swim jigs are necessary. Have fun!
  15. Great Dads are in short supply... but not at your house WTG!
  16. It works great but turn the tail DOWN, or on a lighter jig (3/8) it will surface on you at a medium retrieve... Wait'll you see it in the water
  17. Anywhere you would throw a buzzbait and anywhere you would be AFRAID to throw a buzzbait Plus there are so many other ways to fish it including rigging on a weighted hook for more distance on your cast for windy conditions... It still surfaces easily and keeps it lower in the water. Ck the link below and be sure to hit the read more under each set fo MUCH more info Also, maybe someone here on the forum will tell you about the tail tweak I recently let out of the bag It's SWEET!!! http://www.ragetail....tion/rage-shad/
  18. You know how it goes At some spots with only small and medium sized fish being the aggressive eaters... You feel like you need to sore mouth several of'em thinking that they'll leave it alone the next time you're there and maybe give a bigger fish the chance to EAT
  19. Looks Smallie to me Very Cool
  20. Your quality is AWESOME Mike! I've had the same 1oz Big O Brush jig on for two straight days and after dragging some 70 fish out of the rocks and trash... the hooks still sharp and the paint is still on the head... It DON'T get any better than this
  21. Mike, Is the Mata in 3/4 and 1oz with the RIGHT hook too...
  22. I believe she was HUNGRY And you just gave her the FULL Meal Deal WTG!
  23. Lobster Dinner Anyone... Pass the Flippin Stick Please How would You Fix'em... I mean Fish'em
  24. Yep.. That's a nice one and WTG! Appears she may need some viddles soon
