Glad to be here raggydoo and nice to meet you as well. I actually enjoy making new friends and hearing from many of my old pals here too. I think you are too raggydoo, because your thoughtful response ‘above’ was about myself and others here at BassResource … and not about yourself. That’s so Cool Bluebasser and congratulations on being a great Dad! The look on your boys face says it ALL! ? ICAST is basically a vendor/buyer arrangement where the buyers/dealers/stores come in to see what’s new a meet and greet. A lot of smiling, hugging and hand shaking with interviews concerning new products. I enjoy seeing old friends and meeting new ones. As far as fishing, I think there’s a little of that happening but not much, hope that helps ? And Thank you Pat for your support and friendship, we have some new stuff annually that may fit into your bag of tricks and maybe I can share some of that soon ?

Can you believe that our society today has sunk, stooped, fallen and/or deteriorated to the point that one person stating that someone else is a “man” is politically incorrect!!! I want to apologize for the fact that these types of behaviors in our country are both permitted and accepted nowadays… Since It has happened on my watch, for that I am truly sorry! Thank you for you you kind words and I hope your fishing has been good this year and that it will improve this Fall. Mine was great this Spring but fell off a bit when our Texas daytime temps stayed above 100 for several weeks. The fish were basically feeding more super early, super late and at night. It’s only started improving just before this latest full moon. So I’m hoping for a good fall season as well. Again thanks for your friendship and I’ll try to be around a bit more often with our group here, Fish Safe! Big O

BIRD, Lol sounds like you’re the NBA star ? Thanks for your kind words and I hope you’re getting some good times on the water! I’m splitting my time between fishing and managing our ranch. But the extreme heat here in West Tx has put a dampener on both it seems. I apologize for my recent absence here at BassResource and will try to keep up in the more recent events. BassResource was the first and foremost outreach fishing family for me to be involved with and I appreciate you ALL! Thank you so much for your support and friendship.. Big O Hey T-Billy, Aint nothin’ special here, only an old guy that’s been blessed to get to spend a few more days on the water than really needed to HA! I’m glad to meet you and see that you’re part of this Fishing family… These folks are great and very knowledgeable about so many different aspects of the Fishing world. Thank you 12poundbass and I really appreciate your support as well as your kind words. This group that you’re a part of here at BassResource became part of my family yrs ago and I’ve been a supporter ever since. For several years I was able to go to the fishing road-trips with the group and we would have a blast! In fact I was able to meet a lot of the members and even fish with them during those outings. One trip in particular, I cook a couple of our veterans, BassinSoldier & BassinSargent when the event was held at Pickwick. It rained 8” during the first day but the boys tuffed it out anyway. There was 6” of water in the bottom of the boat all day long and that was with both bilge’s going the entire time… we caught 125 fish that day with the boys setting new PB’s on Smallmouth and Spots! That was one of the most memorable fishing days ever and it never would’ve happened without the BassResource family. There were many other memorable trips but those boys still call me regularly and even come out to visit now and then. You’re in a fine group of people and fisherman and I’m really proud to meet you ?? Thank you Hammer! At the last ICAST event, Glenn said he could find my old account and password so that I could renew my membership… he sent it to me and when I logged in, it was like I had never left! Many of my old friends an acquaintances were still here and active. I’m happy to meet you as well and I’ll try to be interact with you guys and gals a little more than in recent years. Hey Darth, if Big O is the OP then yes OP invented the RageTail ? all kidding aside, I started designing the todays RT products back in the early 2000’s and completed the first final designs in or around 06. The rest is where we are today. I own RageTail, the trademarks, copywrites and patents and SK licenses my products from me to market. I hope you have had a chance to fish them and if so, thank you for trusting my products to help with your fishing ???

Lol, I still fish a lot NorcalBassin but don’t post so many photos any more, just fish for fun ? over the past few years, I’ve been helping Ron Speed with Ron Speed Adventures in Mexico in fish finding and checking out new lakes for his company. It’s been crazy good fishing and he does a great job there. Myself, Terry Oldham and Denny Brauer have made many ck out trips with him and it’s always a blast basically running and gunning to find the best bites possible. I’m blessed to get to do such things and Ron Speed Jr has become like a part of our family. Hope to meet you some day too ? Thanks for your support Pailin!!! In the future, I’ll try to give y’all a heads up on our new products colors etc and answer any questions you may have on use and other things. Hope all of you are doing great and your Fishing is even better! Pls forgive my absence as I’ve become old and senile lol. At different events I’ve been able to see many of you and always enjoy our conversations and camaraderie. Actually met Dwight Hottle for the first time recently at the ICAST in Orlando and he was wearing the same“Camo Shorts” that I sent to him back around 2008. The shorts had gotten a little tattered since that time but then again so have we! Also saw Glenn there at the same event and we discussed the latest news on things as well. That handle is fine except slippery when your hand has the slightest bit of oil or fish slime on it... Many of the foam handles now days are great with me and back when I built rods, I used a similar type of foam to what's on the 'Power Tackle' rods or Cork as they were my favorites. OLD School I guess

LOL, yes Catt that's a St Croix Rage Rod 7'11' Hvy action moderate fast tip... As has been mentioned previously, they had several problems early on including breakage, I brought that to their attention and they made the blanks much better. St Croix produced them in Mexico as a low cost alternative but other issues kept them from going mainstream. I kind of like the Handle but like cork better... have several still in use and still swinging the brutes in with'em. Actually, I have several of the Legend tournament series in the same length weight etc and like them much better, and for sure I like the guides much more. Hope you're doing well!
