  1. No I blew my motor on a 2002 WRX with a 150XXX miles. I am the original owner. I decided to swap in a JDM STi Spec C motor since it is drop in. I actually bought the motor from Canada. Thats a sweet swap , was your car protuned or modified when it blew up i know 150 ,000 is a lot if it was modified it would be even more impressive. Do you have any other plans for the ej20?
  2. Hey your an sti guy too what do you plan on dropping it in gc?
  3. This is interesting but again your fishing a clear lake, from the responses people seem to use straight braid for stained water.
  4. i got irritated and threw it on the island but that was my last experience with booyah.
  5. Has anyone ever tried the daiwa spinnerbaits. They are by far the best i have ever tried razor sharp hooks, tough frames, (20 fish and 2 of them muskies) wired skirts and great paint. My only problem with them is that their so hard to find. Is their any reputable place that sells these in canada.
  6. Lol at least your still had a blade on it... My booyah colorado blade fully came off and the wire was cleanly broken off no fish either
  7. Hello ladies and gentleman's i have been using a 65lb power pro hi vis line,(I like being able to see my line twitch when gentle bites occur) and so far i have caught over 30 fish with it. The last time i was fishing with a buddy, and he commented on my hi vis line. Now my fish have been caught between a mixture of reaction baits (ex spinner-baits) and plastics. I would take a black sharpie and do the mixed line for the last 3 feet. But getting to the point my friend who has been fishing for countless years said "big fish see the line and shy away" "All the fish you would catch on that are aggressive active fish" I took this statement into consideration and it is sensible, but i am just curious about some of the opinions of hi vis users and others. the owner of a local tackle shop said he used the hi vis line without problems and caught just as much fish as his friends. Comments are welcomed just some food for thought. (sorry if this topic has been previously covered)

  10. Pretty sweet reel I was at bps yesterday looking at the reels and it was very light, the handle was nice very fluid, and it was 250$ I was suprised they also changed the color from what was at i cast. Still expensive, I have concluded that dollar for dollar the curado still kills it. Nice reel though hopefully it will be 99$ in a couple years.
  11. So you don't have the zillion, well in my little time of experience with the fuego, zillion and td-a it seems to me that the fuegos brake isnt as good. Both reels can cast further I don't even have to thumb the spools some times. The only experience i have with the revo is sx is trying my fishing partners own which felt smooth refined casts well, but the zillion poops on it.
  12. The lined wool socks from bps are nice but I usually get hanes which are ultra thin and we have what 4 months of warm time.... :-? oh clothes that don't fit always gets to me.
  13. Socks... why the hell would i need sock for my birthday and Christmas if i wanted socks i would buy them my aunt just doesn't understand. :
  14. Line guide insert popped put while fishing. Over 40$ to replace.
  15. Sweet answers fourbizz, very helpful thread I don't think ill be getting into big bait fishing for a few years.
  16. Sorry to hijack, but to any one with experience here to you what is the different between a okuma swimbait rod and say a loomis or 200 plus swim bait rod not trying to be a smartass, its a serious question. Will ot be overall fit and finish, weight that crisp feeling what about the sensitivity, does it really matter.
  17. Last week you asked how to attach a chunk to a jig and now you have a suggestion for winter trailers...Amazing! : ;D
  18. UHh are you seeing those short run off tad too intense for me.
  19. Nice collection where are the cumaras?
  20. I see the 2 steez zillion and fuego but what are those other ones?
  21. Funny.
  22. ABU GARCIA makes good quality reels through the whole price range (100-300$) where as with quantum , it either an inexpensive reel that sucks or an expensive reel that is good . seems they don't offer a good reel for budget minded people . just my opinion , by the way .............. IM just going to throw this out here, but have you ever tried all the abu garcia products for a period of time where you can say these are quality reels and are a great value they've held up etc. The same goes with quantum have you tried all lines of reel and tested them to come to a conclusion i know i haven't which is why I don't make statements like this. I know you've said in my opinion but really how did you come to this. Jeeze im starting to sound like muddy. i think by listening to everyones feed back on quantum and abu garcias reels , feedback from everyone that does or has owned them . in this forum and other places , you don't really hear that much (if it all) about lower priced quantum reels , but on the other hand , you hear ALOT about lower priced abu g. reels . and no , im not talking about the black max or any other ''max'' reels . im talking about the REVO series . most of the time , and i think you can agree , is that barely anyone praises the ''code'' , ''icon'' , and ''burst'' reels . a great majority of the praise is for the ''energy'' and ''tour'' . well anyhow , it was just my opinion (observation) , didn't mean to make a fuss about it btw , check out the post above , kinda what im talking about ........... I see, but can you see where im coming from there are people that love both reels in diffrent price categories it's better to talk of this you have experience in. Also to the person that said something about buying the reels NOT funny ... :
