i agree with avid. no substitute for a good scale. seems like the minute folks find out someone guessed or estimated the weight of a fish, they lose all credibility no matter whether they were close or not. there is even a disclaimer on the weight calculator above.
but based on comparisons of various "weight formulas" to actual readings on my digital scale, i'd have to say that length x length x girth / 1200 is the most acurate one i've found.
but i hate math. it's just easier to buy a scale. ;D
