During my retrieve, the piece where the line goes through and moves left and right will get stuck on the right side for several rotations and build up line unevenly on that side. Tried oiling but only marginally helped. Any suggestions?

I use a 6'8" m-f Shimano Crucial. Love it for jerkbaits. As smalljaw pointed out, great for control. One downside it casting distance. You can certainly use it for topwater as well; however, I have the same rod except m-xf for my topwater. I just prefer the extra backbone for topwater.

Problem is the dealer is hours from me and im trying to avoid that if possible. Hoping its an easy fix that I can do. Just not sure where to start.

I have a 1996 Ranger 461 vs. I just recently had the following work done. New bilge pump, repairs to the livewells, power pole installation-installed on my jackplate. Here's the problem: My boat is now taking in water and I have no clue why. Took it out yesterday and within 3 hours or so noticed water rising from floor drain. Rear compartment was 2/3 full of water. Pumped it out but have no clue where water could be coming in. This is my first boat so my knowledge is very limited. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
