  1. They are pulling water so you should have current in both Arbuckle and Josephine creeks. http://w3.saj.usace.army.mil/h2o/plots/isthp.pdf The water level is extremely critical in Istokpoga, for both fishing and safety.
  2. I have had a motorcycle endorsement for 25 years and in two states and never heard of this. I would like to see where this is legal. The AMA doesn't know anything about it. http://www.americanmotorcyclist.com/Rights/State-Laws.aspx?stateid=35
  3. American league east is a dart and blindfold choice. Probably going to get a wildcard out of there also. Detroit and Oakland run away with the central and west with Texas probably the other wildcard.
  4. It's everywhere. Jet skiers, air boaters, bass boaters, crotch rocket riders, water skiers, bicyclists on the road and everywhere you are at all times. Out of 10 people, 1 is a jerk, 8 are morons, and the other one is you. All that matters is how you respond to the other 9.
  5. Be safe and thank you for your service. If you wind up in Florida when you get back, shoot me a message, I want to take you fishing.
  6. Yep, my 5500 C3's are around 10 years old and are my favorite snook and redfish reels. Tons of power and indestructable.
  7. good socks are only $10. That is cheap protection for your rods.
  8. I use a 1/2 oz with any type of creature bait. You just need the bulk. For more weedless I will t-rig a baby paca craw with a punch skirt.
  9. Just let me know when you get back north. September should bring the toad bite back.
  10. Grab some rods and I will meet you at Grape in a few hours.
  11. You will think something is wrong with your oil injector for the first few months. You will think you never have to put oil in it compared to the rude.
  12. I may be old, but my Pro SX will get the triton into the mid 70's. You are going to love that motor. The fuel and oil economy are amazing. I too was an Evinrude faithful until going to the dark side.
  13. Or you could chunk a toad in the pads for a little while, then go pitch blue and black jigs in the reeds.
  14. My personal, traveling, photographer has some skills.
  15. "No, your fat a** makes you look fat" From the list of things you never say out loud.
  16. Nice ride Felix. That color is sick.

    Lake Lowery

That is typically a good toad spot. But not this weekend. It was pitching and waiting or a fluke. Not aggressive at all for the last few weeks.
  18. I broke 30 lb PP twice today getting 2 pounders out of the slop. I normally punch with 65 lb but I broke that rod yesterday. Pitch a 1 oz tungsten into some florida maidencane mixed with coontail and hydrilla with a few dollar pads just for fun and see how far you get with 20 lb anything.
  19. 1446 kids on the water because of BR. Awesome job guys.
  20. Another one has now tasted the cool aid. Welcome to the club.
  21. Is a 1500 acre lake in Central Polk county that we have an Rv set up on. We hit the lake yesterday around noon and boated 15 before 5 pm. Dinner then out for a moon rise and star gazing. We went to breakfast this morning and back on the lake from 9 until 1230 boated another 10. Nothing huge with the biggest just under 4 lbs. They were in the outside edges of the maidencane in 4-6 ft of water. Blue/black baby paca craw pitched and a fluke fished on the outside edge. The bite was extremely light and we missed more than we caught. I broke off two big ones this morning.
  22. With the water temps in the mid 70's today you can add another 15 up to 4 lbs. We are still at the lake so we will see how the morning frog bite goes.
  23. Practice. Keep the big motor down and straight. Point and coast as much as possible.
