Nope, but I am fishing Texas 53. First one for me is Sunday on Sam Rayburn. Up at the lake now. Got a club tournament tommorrow so hopefully I can get on some.

I voted for bass, however, I have not watched a fishing show since last years Bassmasters Classic. My time is worth more than watching a 30 minute or one hour product commerical. Besides I'm usually on the water on the weekend.

Occasionally i will go purchase a new lure i have never fished. Usually it comes from fishing a tournament on a lake i have never been on and i will purchase a couple of the local, hot lures reccommended by a local tackle shop. To be honest with you i don't ever remember catching a lot of fish on them either. Just usually stick with the ones i have been fishing for years. They have not let me down yet.

I moved away from all the rattling lures several years ago and instantly saw an increase in my catch. firmly believe the fish have long ago become accustomed to the rattles. Strike King makes a very good crankbait. Only use them now when fishing dingy water.

I read an article not long ago in Bass West USA that stated one of those Arizona lakes now had a sizable population of shad in it and due to that the fishing had greatly improved. You might want to check with someone out there and see if that was not so. I have the mags here, will research it and see if i can't get you more info and the article. Falcon lake got 1.35" of rain monday night. first measurable rain since October 13, 2010. that's how dry it's been down there.

Been throwing tubes and creature baits. This year i am going to give the Lateral Perch a good try. I like the concept and I think it will be a big bass bait.

Same here, everything had a conflict. Decided to fish one circuit, jackpot a few others, and then have picked several other local tournaments to fish as time and money allows.
