  1. Looks pretty cool to me. My only concern is ifyou were to get into heavy weeds or moss it might still get into the props and - there you would be. Id steer clear of any top water debris of that nature.
  2. Ive often wondered how many red lights I have run in my life time. So many times I have looked into the rear view mirror and seeing the intersection I just went through not being able to recal what color the light was or ever seeing it.
  3. Question reguarding the Yozuri line. There is none available in my home town of Ardmore Okla. I will have to order it online. Being I have never seen a spool of this stuff I wanted to ask what pound test line I should buy. Im currently using braid that it 12# diameter but 30# test and I like it just fine except it doesnt take abrasion too good. The part I do like is it will straigten the hook without loosing the whole rig, and i still get a good casting distance and good feel. How does yozuri rate their lines? What pound test would I need to buy to compare to what Im using now? If I buy a spool of 12# test, how does the diameter compare? I generally use soft plastics t rigged in moderate to heavy cover with occasional trolling with 6 to 8 ft running lures from one fishing spot to another using a baitcast reel. Looks like there are good and bad opinions about this line in the previous post but Im wanting to try something new.
  4. I choose the USA 1 when I installed this on a computer 2 weeks ago and it worked ok for me. Seems like the new version is really slow about starting up for some reason. I double click on the icon and 20 seconds later the program finally pops up and begins to run. Duno whats up with that.
  5. Ill 2nd that.
  6. Whew! Now there is a good way to get into some serious trouble. ;D
  7. You play with a short fishing pole in the bathtub instead of a rubber ducky.
  8. Im sure I will never need to know this but I was just wondering what is the proper or best procedure for reporting a fish that might be a state record breaker. Who do you contact? What proof or documentation needs to be gathered.
  9. I must say that is one irritating ringtone.
  10. RING, RING RING. RING, RING RING!! RING RING!!!! RING RING RING!!!! RING RING RING RING!!! RING RING!!!!!!! AAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
  11. Once he has had a fish on the line that he thinks almost pulled him in the lake, then the interest and addiction will set in. IMO that is. It may take a few fishing trips to accomplish this but sooner or later if you keep at it it will happen.Welcome to the forums!!
  12. Fishing with a crank bait last year I was in an area with heavy weeds along the bottom. If I cranked it too fast I was sure to bring in a weed fish. And so thats what I thought when the line grew heavy so I continued to reel it in until the last 5 feet the bass jumps out of the water spitting out the lure. If I had only set the hook.
  13. I know I should fish jigs more often. I hear so many good things about them but I have never caught a thing the few times I have tried. Also I need to fish more deeper water than what I do. Now that I have a fish finder maybe I will be a little more successfull at both.
  14. Some day you will have a wife, 2 kids or more, two car payments, and most likely a boat payment. Mortgage, credit card bills, diapers to change, bottles to warm, grass to mow, broken mower to fix, a weed eater that dont start, annoying neighbors, taxes due, student loans to repay, clothes to buy, shoes to buy, broken or worn out clothes washer and drier, high electric bill in the summer, high gas bill in the winter, cloged toilets cloged drain lines, and if your lucky you wont need your wifes permission to go fishing, and the list goes on and on and on. Then when you reached this point in your life you might think "Man I had it made when I was 16, roof over my head, no bills to pay, all I had to worry about was a few dumb ole girls. Ahhh,, if there was only a way to go back to the past". Well Ive said this very thing to myself a few times duno about anybody else.
  15. Glad to see somebodys out there havin fun. It was a good day for fishing here today but I did not go. Working on a few boat mods still.
  16. Guess I will be learning to use a Cuda 242 this spring. Just installed it on my jon boat today. Seats are next!!!
  17. Sometime in November for me too. I have not even purchased a new fishing license yet.
  18. I fish for fun too but I think most of us are fooling ourselves because its probably more of an addiction with fun involved. I would like to go as a ride along with someone on a fishing tournament sometime just to see how things are done because I have never been to one.

  20. Not much here but it gets the job done.
  21. My son Jacob caught this on a rattle trap. He was glowing!
  22. Im glad you said that. I never thought a rock could do such a thing to braid. That might explain some of my mysterious braid line breaks.
