  1. I don't know about you guys, but i lose tails before the bait is ruined...
  2. You can insert weight them (heavy) to fish them fast. Still good random action, but popping that thing every whichaway can turn smallies on.
  3. In only 8' of water, you can use anything you want. If they are hungry, they will munch. The other 85% of the time you have to make them bite. This is the fun part, trying different types, sizes, colors, speed of retrieve and so on. I would dig up a couple of worms and fish under a bobber to find what species they are.
  4. 'It's hard to organize and re-organize your baits 20 times in the winter when they aren't in the house....
  5. Glen..that doesn't even look like you. I like you WAY more than ever.
  6. You are worried about the directional indicator. Just kidding..but really am not. In time, you won't care if it works or not.
  7. Teamnine9 had an Uncontrollable Urge!
  8. Probabally 500 or so hard baits (mostly retired), but very few new in box. Only around 100 make it to the boat nowadays, and even out of those, only 20 or so get some love. My guess is i have about 1/1000 of his stuff...?
  9. Thanks for posting Eric's tackle Jedi...that is crazy! I'm showing my wife so she can understand that i don't have too much tackle.
  10. Have you watched any the last few years? Dropshots and Ned rigs dominate summer derbys after a shallow morning bite it seems. Although watching them take 5 minutes to land a 2# smallie is starting to get old for me....
  11. I have a '96 grumman (deep v, riveted) and have no leaks to this day. I guess i am lucky.
  12. My order took 10 days, reg. shipping...
  13. I have a dedicated "senko" rod - 6'9" ml (spin) with 15# power pro braid to a black swivel, then about 5' leader (floro) to 2 different "hooks". In spring i use senkos only (doesn't matter color) on an unweighted hook and fish pre to post spawn shallow. After that i switch to a weighted wacky hook with any stickworm brand, and is mostly used as a throwback bait (or whatever you call it) to a missed strike on a different lure. I always use an o ring which usually keeps from tearing up the bait. New to me this year is dropshotting wacky style, and i'm not liking it much. Good luck, it is a fish catcher for sure.
  14. I'm with jedi...I think it's a dead bait rig of some sort. Although there's no line tie.
  15. Wacky stickworm or weightless fluke for me.
  16. Thanks Allen for the Cast Ind. link to video. Fun watch.
  17. I love looking at tackle. 2 66qt. tubs would take me awhile. Allen, it's people like you that are an example to show my wife that I don't spend too much $$ on fishing stuff. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I encourage others to fess - up with their "over purchases" to help us all...
  18. I used to drink way too much in my 20's & 30's. In my 40's I slowed way down and my 50's only a few times a year. I haven't had anything in my 60's. (63 later this month) I have nothing against it. But if you're drunk, I don't want to be around you.
  19. For the 3.8s I use a bitsy flip jighead.
  20. Trailer hooks on both, trailers on neither. Spinbait has long skirt, buzz either a frog or tube. Miss VERY few.
