I have never tried these but i like the look. Never saw them in person, only on TW. Their picturedoesn't include a veiw from the front. Are they completely round, or oval shape, or ?

I go once a year, to use the gift cards i get. Maybe a sack or 2 of soft plastics or some hooks, but usually just buy line.

I usually catch 1 pike every trip out. No big ones this year, (29"), but i did catch more rock bass this year than i have for years, on spinnerbaits and bladed jigs. My last trip this year, i caught a 5" perch on a 1/2oz. blade bait. I suck in water colder than 52 degrees...

All but 1 of the lakes i fish have no shore fishing except the homeowners (not a threat to the fish). There is no way a shore angler would out - fish a boat angler on that lake. That;s what i know...

Surface: chug bug whopper plopper Cranks <6': KVD 1.5 sq. bill bandit flat maxx Cranks >6" susp. fat free shad norman dd22 Lipless : 70's hot spot war pig Spinnerbait and bladed jig: both "assembled" (by me) 4 & 5" senko 4 & 5" fluke (both t/r and wacky) Dropshot: apr./may: shad shape worm generic 4 - 6" worm Jigworm: 6 to 8" worm on open jig head (not weedless) These baits caught the majority of my fish this year. Got to work on bottom and swim jigs next year... My post doesn't look the way it did before i hit the submit button....sorry

A friend of mine that pours custom heads gave me a few to try a couple of years ago. Meh. The entire head is covered by the tube, so the blade doesn't bang off the lead. So, it's kinda like a silent bladed jig, (which is ok) looks like a tube on a scrounger head.

Now the temps are in the high 20's, still got the wind...

It's 55 degrees here with wind gusts to match today.

I know exactly where Mayfield is. My grandparents and 3sets of aunts/uncles used to live there. They all have passed before the '90's though. Terrible storm, prayers to all affected...

I still have some of those. I remember responding to an add in a fishing mag (can't remember which one) that were sold in a six pack, all were different color schemes. Can't remember the price, but it had to be a good deal if i got them.

3 spinning rigs. 1 with 8# xl , 2 with 15# braid / 6# floro leader (d/s and fluke / senko), 1 bc w/ 65# braid (frog / pike), 1 bc with 14# co-poly (jig / worm) , and 4 bc with 12# xl (most baits) and 1 bc with 10#xl (cranks). No line conditioner needed.

That would work in the clear waters i fish. Is that the hidden weight model you make? And do you use an o ring or skirt collar for the skirt?

I fish lakes less than 1000 acres and every inch of shoreline is someones back yard. Early spring and late fall there may be only a few others out fishing, so you can usually get to fish wherever you want on the lake. Of course, the rest of the summer people are out in full force, some give berths to fisherman, most are either clueless or don't care. But i am used to it, and it doesn't get me upset. If i have been catching fish, i think thats ok to drive over my spot, i have caught some already. If my day is fishless, i don't care if they drive over my spot, because hey - i aint catching them anyway...win / win ?

I understand Catt. I'm just saying that the playing field is not equal. If every school had the same requirements, the student / athlete could go to any conference / school that wants him or her.
