Not thrilled to say the least. Got out about 15 times less than normal, and my numbers were way down. Nothing over 18" and only 4 over 17. About the only thing i learned was that i now find it difficult to stay out on the water for more than 6 hrs. I'm glad my season is done, but can't wait till next year...
Got skunked for 6 hrs. on saturday. Tried about everything. Sunday caught 5 lm (17" biggest) 2 on spinnerbait, one on a bitsy tube, one on a d/s minnow, and my "big" one on a 3.75 boot tail. 48 degree water. The end is near...
A thing I've noticed over the years is when small bluegills are close to the surface (around weeds) just hanging out - seemingly unafraid of getting eaten by a bass or pike, that fishing is gonna be tough. Where are the bass and pike? not sure, but they aint near those weeds...
What the heck happened to the 1970 coronet models? There used to be 3 different versions made within the last 5 yrs., and now you can't find one. If anyone out there has an unbuilt one, i will buy it.

OOps, my dropshot rod is a 6'9" ML. Next year, a new 7' ML will take it's place.
