  1. I think those handles are for oar locks.
  2. Use the ewg hook of your choice and crimp a weight on it.
  3. Add a 1/0 ewg to texas rig a 4" or longer bait for summertime weedlines.
  4. Sorry mike, probably won't be fishing. Come back in may to fish.
  5. Pea lovers are a little touchy...
  6. Now you're talkin"!
  7. Peas go with nothing.
  8. Not thrilled to say the least. Got out about 15 times less than normal, and my numbers were way down. Nothing over 18" and only 4 over 17. About the only thing i learned was that i now find it difficult to stay out on the water for more than 6 hrs. I'm glad my season is done, but can't wait till next year...
  9. make another one and post it Allen, we want to see that.
  10. Got skunked for 6 hrs. on saturday. Tried about everything. Sunday caught 5 lm (17" biggest) 2 on spinnerbait, one on a bitsy tube, one on a d/s minnow, and my "big" one on a 3.75 boot tail. 48 degree water. The end is near...
  11. I will add to what allen said. The wire bend that holds the swivel needs to be changed. That's a weed grabber what you have now.
  12. Go Vols. Penn state didn't look so tough....
  13. i see nothing...
  14. Not a bait, but a d/s is my go - to. Shad shape or minnow in cold water, worm in warm. A spinnerbait gets wet every time out also.
  15. Don't have one. Or any , i should say.
  16. Give it a test run and let us know how it ran, don't care if you caught anything..
  17. AjH - this is not proof that you're not insane. (lol) (j/k) ?
  18. A thing I've noticed over the years is when small bluegills are close to the surface (around weeds) just hanging out - seemingly unafraid of getting eaten by a bass or pike, that fishing is gonna be tough. Where are the bass and pike? not sure, but they aint near those weeds...

    My Dog

I hope for a full recovery for your buddy Catt. I enjoy everyone's stories, keep them coming. We love our critters...
  20. Bps stump jumper, Blakemore road runner, 3" curly tail grubs. Can't get much cheaper than those.
  21. What the heck happened to the 1970 coronet models? There used to be 3 different versions made within the last 5 yrs., and now you can't find one. If anyone out there has an unbuilt one, i will buy it.
  22. Spinning: 1-6'10"M, 1-6'10" MH , 2-7'M. Baitcasting: 1-6'9"M, 1-6'9" MH, 2- 7' M, 1- 7' MH, 1-7'6"M, and 1 - 7'6" MH. No high - end rods here. OOps, my dropshot rod is a 6'9" ML. Next year, a new 7' ML will take it's place.
  23. I haven't in years, but a 2" white curlytail grub on a 1/16 oz. head was hard to beat.
  24. Dropshot. My other 10 rigs get at least 2 bait types each. My boat only holds 8. ?
  25. Carolina-rig buzzbaitin. Yessir....
