For heaven's sakes people, it's just another day on the water fishing. I have been a co-angler 3 times in my life, on St. Clair with a small group of 15 or so boats. I had never been in a fiberglass bass boat before and now i've been in a Bullet and a Ranger. I loved it and would do it again if they ever brought this little tourney back. Youmight learn something and gain a new friend. Fish your way the other 364 days...
We are all family here. We share our good times, so we should be able to share the bad. That's what families do. Life is hard, and it gets harder the longer we are here. Tomorrow is not guaranteed for any of us, and we should live our life accordingly. Wishing strength, courage, and peace for you bro....
Happy half to all it concerns. I can't believe that after 50 or so years of going to the boat and fishing show, that this year i bought Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Always would spend near/over a hundy. Looking forward to Gim's photo of sitting in a $120,000 bass boat.
I've been in a canoe 5 times in my life (i'm 67) and have no desire to climb back in one. Kayak? never on one, and never will. Maybe 30 or 40 yrs. ago i might. But i have had a boat since i was 22, and with the waters i fish they are perfect for me. I applaud those that canoe or kayak, it gets you out there enjoying nature and cathing fish, but it just aint for me.
I don't know how to act after the outcome of last nights' game. To hold the Vikings to NO td's with our beat - up defense is nothing less than (dang near) impossible. I feel like Wiley E. Coyote on earthquake pills....
