Hey guys, I posted in this thread a while ago, back when my username was dbrev42. As you can see it is now my name, Dean. ;D Spring is coming, can't wait to get some bassin done! I live in Mass, but spend all my summer weekends in New Hampshire bassin on Mascoma Lake. Winter can't end soon enough ;D
Welcome man! You don't need a 21' bass boat with a 300hp motor to catch fish. If I were you, I'd invest in a jon boat. Tracker has a 10 footer for $500. Then I'd throw a 30lb thrust trolling motor on there. It'll push ya along just fine. Bank fishing is aight, but once you fish from a boat you'll never turn back!
Muddy's right. Cat's put up a much better fight. More realistic of a LMB. ;D
High today is about 20 deg. 4-8 inches of snow forcast for tomorrow. Lakes still frozen solid here in north central MA.
Last year I was fortunae enough to be able to head downt o FL the first of March then Lake Fork for BR Roadtrip. This year neither are happening. Don't know how much more I can stands.
I know what ya mean. All this snow they're forcasting for FRI into SAT is going to just top the cake on things. I'm going insane as it is. Not being able to fish, is flat out torture for me. Hopefully I will not loose my humanity during this snow storm.
Time to go watch the C's take on Golden State. Game starts at 10:30 eastern time if anyones interested. I'm thinkin about pullin an all nighter, gonna have to grab me some more Monster ;D
Ok guys, heres the scenario. Water is 5' deep in and around the pads. Water temp is 70 degrees. There is a slight breeze. Air temp is 85. Clarity of the water is clear. So guys, how would you fish it?
