  1. They only read Spanish and Portuguese, so they don't know the package says salt water...
  2. G Loomis blanks aren't normally available. The Seeker rod you posted is spinning, I'm sure an equivalent casting is available. We used to be sponsored by Seeker, still have a bunch of them, good sticks.
  3. Most salt water poppers and walking baits will sit tail down, vertical, or even sink at rest. The reason for this is that they are designed to cast longer into gnarlier conditions with heavier gear. As mentioned above, fish don't know the intended use or the salinity of their environment. I use frsh water lures in the salt, and salt water lures in fresh water quite often. When going from salt to fresh, step down the hooks a bit, and vise versa.
  4. That is clearly not it, but I like it much better than the Vision Jr knockoffs. I catch all sorts of things both fresh and salt with it. Picture?...
  5. Were I ever to fish from a pointy wading pool, and then subsequently wanted to stand up un it, I would set up a stout lanyard (maybe 1/2" three strand) mid ship in front of me that I could pull on while standing.
  6. You have spinning and conventional rods (not to mention a surf stick) in there. Can't make a valid suggestion without knowing what you are going to be fishing for and how.
  7. If the bearing is gunked up, then cleaning it will work, but most bb bearings that misbehave are defective and require replacement.
  8. Palomar is one of the strongest knots you can tie, a 4-5 turn clinch should do the trick.
  9. Don't know, never will.
  10. They will eat most of them, but some species have toxins and chemicals that make them unappealing to things trying to eat them, try it and see. Those pill bug things work great, as kids we used to string 2 or 3 on a hook, and filled buckets with panfish, specially white perch.
  11. Too bad the FL bounty is by the head and not by the lb...
  12. Pull my finger...
  13. Never really worry about the actual distance, more about hitting targets near, mid, and far. When fishing gets slow, turtle whack a mole becomes a thing.
  14. My Napoleon uniform, ahh, I mean costume, is at the cleaners...
  15. Not really a concern, unlike other things, that's not too difficult to restart. The next 18-36 months are going to be very lean, and these folks can see that, prudent business decision.
  16. The informative tips with the "juice" is for my patreons.... (darn! I think you're right)....
  17. Pull the other leg until it pops back in
  18. We'd get some of the old Key's guides drunk, and the stories were priceless. I had the misfortune of being in a boat with him once, not impressed, in his defense, he was an old guy at the time.
  19. I've not used smackdown, but I really don't like 832.
  20. The guy with the red sticker on his face above...
  21. I still don't know how Mark Sosin got his own line of lures.
  22. Yeah, one is world renowned electronic company and the other has been around since 2013 and has been "influenced" into the public consciousness.
