  1. Wife wants porcelain tile for the kitchen floor, but I'm concerned with War Eagles slipping out of my hand and shattering...
  2. Was it a field of poppies?... And that really is the pudding tasting after all.
  3. You want a fairly substantial needle nose, once you get the hang of it it's not hard. You only want a very slight bend if fishing in heavy cover, otherwise it defeats the purpose of fishing a frog. The needle nose vise grips is a good idea, but a bit of overkill. With large salt water hooks, I put them in a vise and use regular vise grips, if that doesn't work, Gold's Gyms has a $10 a month plan...
  4. The one with the black back is for catching more anglers, and the one with the blue back is for catching more anglers.
  5. Alien technology, or meth....
  6. Ok, baby steps, have you heard of a large arbor fly reel?...
  7. Ever wonder why the arbor knot is called the arbor knot?...
  8. Sister in Law (1/2 brother's age) is Russian, I'm grandfathered in, and most of them speak English anyway, besides they are regional at best...
  9. Yeah, except that the PT in IPT stands for per turn, so no matter the length of the handle, the I won't change regardless how you pitch it... I am selling a lot of 165mm and shorter cranksets though... I'm signing up for Mandarin lessons today!
  10. LOL. "It's Palmolive, you are soaking in it"...
  11. That sure looks like it was quarried at some point. I like the point on the top left with water on olny one side, and I'd be looking for something different and isolated in 6-12 feet of water, and then a bit deeper if that doesn't work out. That lake is screaming "troll me".
  12. This^. Assuming all other dimensions are the same, the diameter of the arbor will have no effect on the IPT at any given point in the cast. The one with the smaller arbor will cast further though...
  13. It's SW of your old hangout...
  14. Make model and hrs?
  15. So you want a lake break down without a topo? Let me find my crystal ball...
  16. More about sun angle, and when it clears the trees or mountains or other terrain, not the time of day, early and late are both good, but this time of year 6 PM is still day time here.
  17. Those aren't snelled leaders, but more importantly "You have city hands Mr. Hooper, been counting money all your life"
  18. How many Best in Show ducklings, tarantulas, and bats can you debut before you get treated like the kid crying wolf.
  19. Only because I prefer feral cat fishing, I'm sure a small piece of peanut butter granola bar would do it...
