Put a bobber stopper on either side of the sinker (or just one if you aren't pegging) and you will get back 99% of your sinkers when you break off, not to mention it keeps the sinker from squishing down the bait.
You are going to be hearing a lot of that.
Got 4, biggest right around 3 lbs, fished around a crazy downpour and wind, missed a few more than usual. We got some needed rain, should be good next couple of days.
Depending on the front, the pressure can change gradually or suddenly. Usually I find the fishing starts getting good ahead of the weather caused by a front, and holds up for a few hours to a day.
"We have developed a proprietary process where nano particles are ground into an even smaller size using a newly discovered Alien technology Mesopotamian mill operated by virgins, who are then offered to Nanna to ensure ideal resin curing, we call it DFT, Deflower Flour Technology"..
Sometimes that is the ticket with poppers, other top waters, and wake baits. Haven't fished the World Popper (just about every other popper in the world, yes), so can't say specifically on it.
LOL. We see a lot of this at the dock in the salt. Every boat has their "they would only bite this" story at the end of the day, and each has a different lure, and everyone fished the same pod of fish.
Crappie, surf, and match rods maybe. For something bass(ish), may need to go custom, or cut down (up) some of the ridiculously long rods that abound and slide some cork up the butt. I'm a fan of Tenn. handles, and cork tape on surf sticks.
