  1. Most plastics that are made up of more than 1 color have quite a bit of variation, not a bad thing.
  2. No techniques, top water or otherwise, so no mastering, just catching...
  3. Two tools each with a time and a place, no need for love or hate in either direction.
  4. Actually there is, and most of it isn't new. Look to medical and academic sources, not the marketing of food, supplements, and diet companies.
  5. "Do I make you Randy? Oh, behave...."
  6. Like it, don't love it.
  7. LOL, one of our mechanics used to own his own shop in Mexico, and he loved to tell the story of when guys with expensive bicycles came in he had three different grades of grease, the brown automotive grease, the blue marine grease, and the red aviation grease, they would always go for the most expensive red one, funny part is they were all the same grease.
  8. Other than WWE, haven't seen a clothesline since we were kids, they work great, unless you forget to take the clothes down when it rains, then you have to add more quarters...
  9. I'm gonna start slinging an AK-15...
  10. How does one catch minus 5% on topwater?...
  11. LOL, Good on you, but yeah, competing against vastly different skill/ability levels skews the numbers, all the technology and equipment in the world won't help there.
  12. That's not how it works in the real world. In most competitions, the difference comes down to very small differences, and anything that gives you an advantage is going to have an impact, sure in bass fishing, there are times that the conditions will diminish or eliminate the advantage of real time SONAR, but the majority of the time it will make an advantage difficult to overcome. In the salt, we made a habit of taking "purists" competitors' $.
  13. her pronoun is mud bug...
  14. I never cared for golf, but much respect to Payne Stewart for pulling off the vintage golf pantaloon look in stride. He's (was) the Bryan Kershal of golf...
  15. He's the Gerald Swindle of golf...
  16. "You drive for show, you putt for dough"...
  17. If all the sizes of spook came in silent, I'd fish that, one knocker next, and rattler last, won't make a difference most times, but when it does, it really does...
  18. Fishing from shore, that will be a 7'-7'2" medium soon enough...
  19. And go blind...
  20. Not too creative, but the answer is not letting the wheels get past the end of the concrete. Finding out exactly where the lip is is a good start.
  21. Something like my frog rod, or an old flipping stick, and 15-25 mono. I don't do 3/4 often, I'm usually either 1/2 or 1 oz when going big spinnerbaits.
  22. We call this loving equipment to death in the bike business, unless you are fishing a reel all day every day in harsh conditions, that is way overkill by a factor of at least 3. The grease is fine, unless you mix incompatible greases, no issues.
  23. Perfect example why one shouldn't change multiple variables. Now one will just confirmation bias make up a fairy tale as to what caused the bites.
  24. Oh no, I love hackers, I sell sporting goods for a living, one more nephew through college and I'm doing Argentina to Alaska in reverse...
