    1/0 is smaller than 2/0, 2 is smaller than both by a large margin. I've settled on 20 ga, #1 buckshot for home defense... ps: There is no standard in hook sizes, so hooks labeled the same # from different manufacturers may differ in size.

    Slow rolled hard bodied swimbait in the afternoon. I like the Bucca baby bluegill thing (wish I didn't) with the fishing line tail.

    Are we talking in one day, a multi day competition, a whole season, a lifetime? makes a big difference. Up that way, unlike in a lot of other places, smallies would certainly be in the equation.

    LOL. The Rap is full of fish, but it can be quite tricky to figure out. A lot of different things to catch. I don't get down there much anymore, but if you are fishing in a lot of current, you may be in the wrong spot...

    Barbless yes, single hooks on baits designed for trebles, no.

    Yup, we get the used poultry shears from the DelMarVa chicken factories, they make short work of anything you want to cut on the boat, specially crab baits.

    No, the salt water is corrosive, the bearing race and other components may be prone to oxidation or corrosion based on their composition, but maybe in Rio.....

    You can certainly fish most lures with one rod, but it's going to be a compromise somewhere, I certainly wouldn't want to do it if I didn't have to. I can get away with 3 rods though, and be good with everything but the largest and smallest lures.

    There is a guy who buys a bunch of our donated old lures and makes things like that. There is also another guy that buys our beat up old rods and makes fly swatters out of them.

    I was out on small water in PG county, and I actually walked out on the ice a couple of days ago. It cleared up enough to fish a little a couple of days later, and the pickerel were biting.
