  1. Loading redfins and long As with water is an old surf favorite. Once you are happy seal that bad boy up. I do it with my cranks for the late winter early spring, (in my best Mark Hamill voice) "no technique name"...
  2. The time Scott Martin asked me for bass fishing advise...
  3. Three years ago. Wear your respirators when pouring indoors...
  4. Time is money...
  5. LOL. One of our bike mechanics, had his own shop, and had the same grease in 3 colors, and sold and used them as good, better, best. The top of the line one was "used in aerospace". As he tells it most could "really feel the difference"... My frog reel has crunchy dry bearings, (and an on/off drag) and casts 1/2 oz frogs a country mile, and as a plus, the bearings drown out the braid noise.
  6. Oh yeah, let me spread out some sourdough into the shape of Spain and melt some cheese over it and burn it just so...
  7. First "lure" one was on a hook wrapped with aluminum foil with a couple of beads threaded on the line (mom had a side hustle in the late 60s making Keith Partridge puka bead necklaces, ahead of her time ). First real lure one was on a #9 (silver/blue back) original Rap that I found in a tree.
  8. LOL. I hit start, then tied, then hit stop, so it was probably a bit faster. That's tying time. No line checking, no clipping, add another 6-10 seconds for all that... I held the tennis racket stringing time record for a while too..
  9. Why?
  10. No weekends, Holiday or otherwise.
  11. No law against doing it while the fish is in the water. Check Texas, just to be sure...
  12. 13 seconds for a 6 wrap uni.
  13. I just don't understand why there aren't any pictures of them horseback riding shirtless...
  14. Moved from outdoors and recreation section to the fiction section.
  15. Quatro y medio kilos.
  16. I change lures when fish or conditions dictate, I change color when I run out of one.
  17. Scrub Grubbing, Ned before Ned.
  18. We have mosquitofish here. They vary in size, most don't get much over an inch. A lot of things key in on them, specially when the water is cold.
  19. An inch of trick or finesse worm on a crappie jig gets them when they play hard to get.
  20. It's a mini turd in handcuffs...
  21. Wife: "you going fishing? It's raining." Me: "fish are already wet"
  22. I have a spot where they will actually grab a small spinnerbait (or anything else I'm sure) laying on the bottom. Answered the phone once, and thought it was a fluke, but no, go figure.
