  1. Intellectual property or a pet rock, stealing is stealing, rationalize away...
  2. I don't know about the west, but I've been able to track down some intel, that to my satisfaction points to some of this going on on the east, as well as internationally in the 50s and 60s. Had a conversation with an old Vet, who told me of several instances, and everything he said that I could research checked out.
  3. There is still water left in California?...
  4. If that is the case, I'm gonna start stealing tackle bought second hand, since it's not costing the original owner anything. Idiotic thinking.
  5. It will if you attach the end to a quality small BB swivel. Stretch it then reel it back tight while pointing the rod at the swivel, and holding the line snugly between fingers.
  6. For sure, GYCBs are certainly more consistent than some from production to production, (except when they go salt crazy) but taking into account that the guys (and gals) making these things are breathing the 55 gallon drums all day, I'm surprised they don't all look like cellophane flowers,.. Maybe the next hot bait will be the Blue Meanie...
  7. Memory and twist are two different things.
  8. yeah, but great for decorating ideas, I'm redoing my kitchen with recessed lighting on a "natural" manufactured wood ceiling...
  9. There could be minute differences with different colors and associated flakes, but the real difference is with production runs. I have seen differences with most brands, more with some than others.
  10. "Dream chatterbait rod" made me laugh...
  11. I've been "drop shotting" with a dropper loop long before there was a thing. Sometimes when I'm feeling really jiggy, I'll push up the bait all the way up the loop against the knot. As others have mentioned the dropper loop is a staple in the salt for several aplications. I need a technique name for dead sticking a 2 loop one on the drift, catches everything.
  12. poppers and prop baits yes, everything else no.
  13. His next video should be on child discipline...
  14. I'm sure you could, but bones heal in short order, and keeping the area immobilized is the key to it, so....
  15. The crushing thing.
  16. In a perfect world, there would be no recreational fishermen to impede the working man...
  17. You can throw them at the kids on your lawn...
  18. Obviously they do, they cut the day short. Changing the logistics at the end costs $.
  19. I find Randy entertaining more than informative, and I think covering the "hot topics" and the reactions they entice is the point. It's in essence click bait. I'm not sure if the whole hick in the neck of the woods who dislikes technology is genuine, or a schtick or some where in the middle, but it seems to work for him. As far as the haters, Mother Theresa could have a channel and have folks with little knowledge or experience in the subject matter post horrible things, it's where we are at right now.
  20. Let me know if you need white crabs...
  21. So I went out yesterday to catch some on topwater and tune my wife's black jitterbug, that part didn't work out, but ended up getting caught in that crazy downpour, and pitching a small jig into the torrent current that a small feeder creek had become and catching fish for almost 2 hours non stop most were 1 1/2 to 2 lbs or so, but some 3s and a couple of 4s mixed in. I was completely soaked and my **** were filled with water. I just pitched the jig to the head of the stream and let the current carry it down, and they were chocking it. Gonna go see if they are still there later.
