  1. Like a snowman scented candle...
  2. Oh great, someone else to get a time out from.... Congrats!
  3. -If you have an umbrella frame that works well, but the snap/swivel or other hardware is sub standard, you can easily change it out to more appropriate ones. A round nose or bailing pliers are nice, but needle nose will work. (check out spinner making videos) -If you aren't getting bit on the center/trailing bait (and the lower baits), it probably isn't running correctly, it may be getting pushed to the side, or more likely in your case, spinning excessively, (umbrellas shouldn't spin). -Umbrella size should be matched to bait size, within reason, large umbrella/small baits and small umbrellas/big baits tend to create some issues. I know it sounds a like like trolling, but let out some line and watch the rig while running the boat at idle and see how it is running, this will give good guidance on how fast/slow to retrieve as well.
  4. Used to work with extruded nylon and similar materials, and the color always made a difference in the characteristics of the final product.
  5. I find love scope difficult in boats under 23 feet...
  6. $1.97 Wally World needle nose, and a little chapstick on the hinge every once in a while. The best pliers (just like rods) is the one you have on hand. Pickerel fishing right now, so I take two with me. Thank you Seal Team 10....
  7. OCD and Type A are two very different things, each needs it's own tab...
  8. When I want novice anglers to catch fish on a WB, I tie on a Foot Loose or Daiwa SSR for them.
  9. Tiny piece of plastic on a crappie jig head, hair jig, JB, blade bait, inline spinner, if that doesn't get 'em, it's indoor pickleball (wife's new thing)...
  10. N/A. BG or Ande in 20, 25, or 30 lb...
  11. The humor in a post asking about videos and tubes will go over most folks' heads, oh, and why do all these folks think these are "secrets"?...
  12. Old guys that ***** about everything and start with "In my day..."
  13. I respect ya'll spaces and pronouns, the fishing, not so much...
  14. That sounds like a tired reel. My guess is the noise is worn worm/pawl.
  15. Braid to leader sounds like a good idea until you launch the third swimbait like an incumbered billionaire.
  16. 20 lb BG or 25 lb Ande.
  17. Some unknown crappie angler cussing at the dumb green fish keeping him from catching his dinner.
  18. You start with a large fortune...
  19. Their reel (sic) name is Angler's Sport Center, The sign says Anglers Fishing Hunting but everyone knows them as Angler's. A couple of the guys that work or worked there are hardcore fresh, bass, snakeheads, and everything else. Their fresh water selection is good for a shop right on the Ches. Bay. Frozen green crabs on the other hand, that is just offensive!
  20. Yeah pretty much anything that isn't press fit, or some of the other nonsense coming out is now English. Uncreaking (new verb) bbs in expensive bikes makes me a lot of $. Unfortunately not many "Italian" bikes coming out of Italy anymore. Kinda like Malaysian Japanese reels I guess...
