  1. I don't consider those small, but in that range, the Little John and Aska get bit for me also.
  2. I almost always have both tied on. They can be interchangeable at times, and almost complete opposites at others. They are both very versatile, and can be fished in several ways. You mostly tailor a chatter with the trailer, and a spinnerbait with the blade(s), and that is usually the key. I usually have a plan that works, but sometimes the fish have different ideas. I really like fishing spinnerbaits, and dislike fishing chatters, but the dumb things get the job done better than anything else sometimes.
  3. like mummified?...
  4. Most folks who have them like them, and they are well thought out. I think the wife is going to get a CX-5 for our anniversary though, anything without a CVT anyway... Large bucket extra butter please...
  5. And it rode to school in the short bus.
  6. As long as it's plastisol, yes. Things like elastech, powerbait, and the like may not play nice. Use your wife's best Williams Sonoma measuring cups and spatulas and melt it in the Viking built in microwave, they like that...
  7. That will work, but you can get something similar from Harbor Freight for half that $.
  8. Did a YT pro give up the "pre spawn big worm" secret?
  9. What he said.
  10. Either will work. The heavier line will have an impact on the action, but that is not always a bad thing. I would go lighter with an open hook, and heavier with a buried one.
  11. Besides size, I group Lipless baits by ROF and decibels. Other than those 2 things, I don't find much difference between them.
  12. They will work at any depth, but they shine in deeper water. You can fish them anywhere between horizontal and vertical. I usually don't fish them in water shallower than 10-12 ft, but they will work.
  13. I fish all winter long for other things, and we usually don't have ice for more than a week or 2 at a time, if that, so N/A.
  14. I borrow hooks from Paul to put on Peter all the time. FYI, I fished the jitterbug a lot recently with the cicada bloom, and I made many mods, among them adding hair and feathers to the hooks, and found that anything I did only made the catching worse. A slight bend of the lip and tie, and better hooks was the ticket.
  15. Yeah, no right or wrong answer here. Either a variety of reels, or conversely the same reel (with different gear ratio on some) will get the job done, and there are pros and cons for both. I'm all about feel and ergonomics, so I go the latter mostly, but a few other different reels have creeped in as my fishing has become more recreational. I feel bad for ya'lls wifes and girlfriends with all the 50 and 70 reels out there...
  16. Truth be told, all these green fish just get in the way while I'm...
  17. I like drifting flats sometimes, but I prefer to cast into the drift, not behind it.
  18. It's a sonar, it is sending a sound pulse, if it doesn't hear anything back it will just think the water is too deep, no way to "mess up the algorithm", now if you run your fish tank heater out of the water and then dunk it in, that's a problem...
  19. Like an Apple product...
  20. You can bend them to be where ever you want them.
  21. The Covid vaccine chip in my head interferes with the DC, so the MGL.
  22. Yozuri Bonita
  23. Find the offshore ditches...
