  1. When you're having a bad day today just think about the positives. I had to be at URI this morning for 9am to make my schedule and meet my advisor about my fall schedule. So I was coming home with the boat on back this morning around 7:45. I was backing my boat down the driveway (very steep), when I lost it, just about jack knifed the boat and put the rear of the truck into one of the many large oaks on the edge of my driveway. Completely crushed the rear passenger side of the truck. Good news is the frame and hitch are ok and the boat and trailer are ok. But my truck needs a new bed and bumper and my neck and head are killing me. I guess it was just bound to happen, I was being stupid and in a rush. I have been towing since I got my license and I guess it is a good first accident to have. Could always be worse... :
  2. Just like in 40 Year Old Virgin. Take 3 Tylenol PM and try to............before you fall asleep. It's a win win.
  3. Get a hair cut!!!!!
  4. I can definatley see Biffle going back to the FLW after this year. First he spoke out about BASS cutting the event short on (....can't remember) and not letting 50 fish, only 12. And now this. I hope he pulls a Luke Clausen. ;D
  5. I doubt it is in the liquid state in gasoline. I. Definition: Liquid nitrogen is a cold, liquefied gas with a temperature of -321° F. Nitrogen makes up 70% of the air we breath so it will not harm your eyes. Liquid nitrogen therapy is done by spraying this cold liquid onto the skin from a spray gun. Each skin growth that is treated needs to be sprayed three times. The skin must completely thaw between applications. http://www.skinsite.com/info_liquid_nitrogen.htm Like I said, bio...lol
  6. Was it Todd R?
  7. Wow, we are up to a ton of RI guys. We should look to try to do a get together on Johnson's. Centrally located, fishing sucks, but we could make do. Let's pic a date and get going....
  8. Biology is my thing, not chemistry. But wouldn't there be a difference in how it burns in the engine a liquid form vs burning in the form of a gas? I would think in the liquid form it would do some work to the carbon built up on an intake valve. But then even if it did work it would really only burn some of the junk off so it would seat better in the head. :-? Or could it possible clean the injectors somehow? :-?
  9. I thought a John Daly was a couple of Wendy's Triple Baconators washed down with a 30 of Michelob Ultra.
  10. Beach from post-spawn to the first cold snap in October is all about electronics. You generally cant find smallies in there to win a tournament this time of year though. Those bags usually come from the grass by the dam and are largemouth. But I did happen to find a magic tree in about 35' that throws out a few nice 3-4 pound largies in the course of 8 hours. Mix that in with a few 2-3 pound drop-shotted smallies and you have a nice 15 pound bag that will win most of the time. But someone always seems to come in with a fish over 6. ;D

    Tube heads...

I forgot all about the Venoms. Thanks
  12. I'm looking for something new or something more efficient when it comes to fishing tubes on chunk rock. I need something light because I will only be fishing 3-5 feet of crystal clear water with basketball sized rock. I generally like using internal tube weights but with this stuff I need an exposed hook. I need the exposed hook because I'm fishing lighter tackle than usual and I don't want to mix with 6 pound line, a tex-posed hook, and 4 pound smallies. I see that as being as heart-breaking combination. Thanks
  13. Oh my.... :-X
  14. The middle lake has some great humps, some with grass, and some without. I like the ones without in 10-13' with a shakey head or tube. These will usually hold some quality fish and not the typical 10-12" Webster fish.
  15. The smallie bite was on this spring. Beach, Indian, Tiogue, and Watchaug were throwing out nice quality smallies. I had a day on Beach with about 30 smallies in 4 hours with a few over 4 pounds. Tiogue and Watchaug didn't produce as many but they were all quality 2-3 pound fish. But since the spawn the bite has just died. Have not hit one on the last three. I have found them in 20-30' in Beach on the drop-shot but nothing quality. I have been to Stafford 3 times this year and have only caught 2 keeper smallies. My buddy hit a 5-1 in early May there though.
  16. We sell a ton of Jeremiah Weed Country Peach. It's made in Connecticut and they also have a bourbon mix as well.

  18. I better get to the doctor for a check up. To think you and I think the same has to be the sign of some kind of illness. See what Girl Scout cookies do to you over time?
  19. 60 with a dewpoint of 60 and heavy fog. Only one day over 80 this month. It's been chilly and wet. "Global Warming" :
  20. Nice dude, the Park has been ON.
  21. Must be nice to have unpressured healthy fish. (I'm jealous) Seems like every fish I catch has a busted jaw, hook down it's throat, or a messed up face. I caught a couple ugly 4 pounders out of the Park today. Have to finesse fish the ___ out of them too. No jig bite at all. >
  22. Yea, we should just create another section just for posts about Rage Tails, it is starting to get annoying. Yes they catch fish, but so do plenty of other baits... : And I vote that the Rooster be renamed the Steve Irwinator.
  23. I love them in watermelon red and pumpkinseed. But then I found Netbait's version... :-X
