  2. Ok... There will be NO money involved in this event. Just trying to have a fun get-together and meet-up. No matter what there will be people there because we are having a club tournament at the same time. So this isn't going to be one of those no-one shows events. NO alcohol. If you are bringing a boat and want to weigh-in fish it must have some form of an aerated livewell (cooler..whatever keeps them kicking, no stringers) and bow/stern lights. I think it would be a good idea if everyone brought a bag of plastics or baits to donate into a tackle pack for the winner. So hope to see everyone there.
  3. The sun shines on a dog's *** every now and then... So you have a sun-burnt *** as of late...
  4. After seeing what I have seen of the IGFA in RI when it comes to weighing in potential records (salt water). I see them doing whatever it takes to see that the Perry's record stands.
  5. 2 ounces! Ouch. Should have put all that Tru-Tungsten you own to good use. Good job B
  6. I'm so happy fish have started to catch on to them in heavily fished areas. In 5-7 years they will be just another bait. :
  7. Yea he has gone nuts since he signed. What a steal so far.
  8. Will largemouth or just smallies? I find largies do more than smallies. It has bit me in the butt on more than one occasion in 10 fish limit tourneys.
  9. Ok, next Saturday night, 8:30pm to 2 am. Hope to see you there.
  10. This rising dirty water suits Hackney.
  11. Alleghaney, Mon, and Pittsburgh don't seem to hold any fish. :-/ Going to be a shootout between Ike and Lefebre.
  12. I think anyone who didn't weigh in more than 7 pounds yesterday is already out of it. Tomorrow might be even worse.
  13. I dont know if it is a good thing or a bad thing actually. His co got a limit which included a almost 3 pounder. So either he is on them or he stung a lot of them. Either way 10 fish and a few culls is a lot of fish to burn on one day on the rivers.Watch for Ike and Adam Wagner (BFL guy).
  14. Today is probably the day to get them. Rain is coming for tomorrow and those rivers are already moving. Especially the Ohio were most of the guys went. Going to be moving and like fishing chocolate milk come Saturday.
  15. Yup, Ike, Lefebre, and Nixon all have some nice bags. More two pound fish this year and some reports of fish over three pounds. In 2005 I think big fish was between Stacey King and KVD on day 1 with a 2-14.
  16. 6-8 pounds a day will win it, if not less. When I was there in the expo center they had a big board showing the number of fish caught and number of keepers and I remember Gary Klein having caught over 40 fish a day but they were just all those 8-10" fish. My buddy is down there fishing the TBF Youth World Championship and he is having the same problem even up north in Kittening, all 10" fish. Don't forget Biffle snuck in too. 8-)
  17. Wow, I definatley want to burn the jersey he signed for me.

    Pete Rose

I say we built a Allan Huber "Bud" Selig Hall of Shame where Rose and all the juicers can go. Criteria for entry: You must have broken MLB records and given baseball a bad name or made a complete *** of yourself.
  19. They had a chance to get rid of their short-stop worries with Cabrera but said no. : They would have got him for free too. ;D
  20. New England is in turmoil... 1. Bucholtz, Masterson/Beadouin, and prospects = Holliday 2. Bard > Papelbon 3. Dice-K is a lost cause and can't keep his mouth shut, send him packing. 4. JD Drew should have been left to play in the NL. With the exception of Game 4 vs. Cleveland in 2007. 5. 2010 is going to be a horrible year when they finish 3rd and miss the playoffs.
  21. That will be a heck of a standard when they legalize marijuana to get them out of that debt. ;D
  22. It's really not an opinion, it's a fact. Below 20 ft the dissolved oxygen content is too low on most phosphate pits. The 3-pounder you caught was probably suspended on the shoreline drop-off (very common). Roger I would go with a drop-shot rig. It cannot be beat when it comes to pit/bluff bank type shorelines.
  23. Electronics and knowing seasonal patterns of the fish and the bait are the keys to off shore fishing, not always the lures. And those fish you are pulling out of the grass are most likely residential fish so they are always there. Just have to try to figure those fish out too.
  24. Those G-Blanks are pretty sweet. But so are Powells.... :-? Flip a coin... 8-)
