  1. .... Wow, another crazy game. Amazing though, if they beat the Steelers next week they go undefeated in the Regular season. Tom Brady, greatest QB under pressure EVER! Wasn't big on Rodney Harrison talking smack to Brian Bellick though, found it very disrespectful, laughed when Bellick just kissed at him though.
  2. Use the AC66MF for the jerks and all of your treble hooked baits. Thats what I like a 6'6" MF rod for anyway.

    Rat-L-Traps

This year was the year of the rat-l-trap for me. I used them more than ever before and they never let me down. Whenenver you need to get fish in the boat they are a great way to cover water and get a few reaction bites. I caught a lot of quality 2-4 pound fish on them this year, and a bunch over 4, my PB LM on them this year was 5.4 in April with 42 degree water teps and two weeks later in a tourney I caught a 3.57 Smallie on them. Chrome with the black or blue back are the two I go with.
  4. LMAO! I'm sure that is in no way to attract young voters. Ya know, Chunk Norris once won a starring contest against the sun.
  5. Watching sportcenter and the ESPN Poll was if the BCS got it right about the two teams playing in the National Championship. Well 48 states voted no, can you guess which two states voted yes??? lol ;D

    Sugar Bowl

Well does Hawai'i prove they are not a joke against Georgia or what?
  7. Thats what I was thinking. If these things were not charged 30 minutes would do nothing, and seeing as though he "careless" he probably doesnt always keep them charged so therefore whatever charge they get probably doesnt hold. Just my $.02
  8. Texas, very easy to rig if the jighead has a screw.
  9. Same here, any team could beat any other team on any given day. Also showed BCS is garbage because there is no way to really rank teams when every team has atleast one loss, with the exception of one that got no respect what so ever.
  10. The finesse worm is probably the most popular and productive.
  11. Navionics are great, but in certain RI lakes are not reliable, and if you use them to navigate on certain lakes like most you will loose your lower unit. I still think one of the best maps out there are the HotSpot series.
  12. Ok it all depends where the fish are. As an example, if there are fish suspended in the middle of 10' I will go to the original series because it gets down to 5'. But besides that if I'm fishing water than 8 feet I will go to the dd series. And for shallow water, 2-4 feet, I will go to the slender series. As for colors, my personal favorite that will catch fish anywhere Ghost Tennesse Shad
  13. there is also some sort of GULP! minnow that also works on a drop shot from what I hear. Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... I wasnt gonna tell him about that. lol.
  14. Whats depths are you fishing? What is the type and average size of forage is in the lake? Water clarity? I would recommend against it unless someone shows you how because you can ruin a $15 bait.
  15. WOW! Never heard of that. Definatley gonna have to try that out.
  16. A skippin rod for tubes and senkos? Drop-shot/Finesse rod? For 3/8 oz jigs or lighter and Football jigs a 6'8"-7'3" MH?
  17. x2 Nothing against them but thats why I stopped buying them. Got sick of playing with Suspendots and such. I would rather spend the $9 for a product I know suspends and has better color options. It is the only LC bait I will through out the money for, there suspending jerkbaits are second to none.
  18. Almost everything has ice on it here, the lakes are not all ice but all the boat ramp areas are atleast. More snow Weds too :
  19. LMAO! I guess I was way off on that. Didn't have a package with the spelling of it nearby and thats I how I thought it was pronounced. Use New Englander's cant talk right anyhow.
  20. 50 degree water. Sorry. In a lot of RI lakes most fish winter at the end of long shallow points that have a real drop at the end of them. And as soon as the water gets out of the 30's and the 40-50 degree range they move up onto the top of that drop on the point, all I do is just throw the jerkbait around that drop and hang on.
  21. OU 38 WV 20
  22. past tense? why dont you like it anymore? It was never seen again after a day of 4 footers on Watchuag. lol
  23. Whenever I find bait stacked upat the end of a point in water under 50* I go to a jerkbait. Either a Pointer 78DD or a good old Husky Jerk. As for motions, let the fish tell you. My most productive is the 3 fast snaps followed by a couple second pause. But some times pause longer, snap it slower, or dont snap it at all, reel it down to its maximum depth and pause it, then reel a little pause.
  24. Love those Crazy Crawlers I use to have an all glow in the dark one an it was all I used to thorw when I wa night fishing, wish I could find one again. Never had an issue with the flaps. Comes back like a jitterbug but it kind of wobbels up and down where as the bug goes side-to-side. Definatley a weird bait. Still love them though.
