  1. Every creek I have ever fished always had, laydowns, brush, undercut banks and such so a jig is the best creek bait imo.
  2. Wow, not a big fan of newer Vette's but that is a nice car. But that new Mustang is pretty nice looking. There are way to many 6-Banger Stangers out there. Every rich kid in my high school had one. I like the older Mustangs of the late 60's and early 70's.
  3. They will be a wildcard team in a few years. I'm sure they will be better next year, because it really can't get much worse. :
  4. Congrats and come home safe. Merry Christmas
  5. Lol, do you live under a rock? :-? Someone bleeds blue and gold.
  6. Exactly.
  7. How come my watermelon chartruese tip always beats your swirl? Just playing, hope you are having as much fun unloading packages as much as I enjoy loading them :
  8. I love junebug is very clear waters personally. For stained water I go for okachobee craw or green pumpkin. For murky, I go with a black/blue laminate or sand.
  9. Ya, there is another nail biter in Pittsburgh now. A play-off preview?
  10. This challenge could be huge. Either no TD and Jets eat up more time, or TD and lots of time left.
  11. This is a great game. Jets and Pats are playing very even. 7:30 to go in the 4th, 17-7 Pats.
  12. Nice fish, judging by the color of that fish, must have been in some grass. Like every other fish down there.
  13. Can't say I do. Only FLW stuff I have done is the National Guard Junior World Championship, gone try to fish a BFL event or two in 2008.
  14. Most amount of rods I will have on my boat is 10. Like I said I always go in with a game plan that suits what I'm comfortable fishing. So I don't change very much. Unless something has drastically changed since the time I prefished I wont change much. Prefishing is the best thing you can do. If I cannot prefish a lake chances are I will be power fishing and covering water with jigs, traps, and spinnerbaits, till I find an area or pattern. Then I will settle down and go from there. Truthfully, I might change baits 2 or 3 times at the most if I change at all.
  15. Prefishing will eliminate a lot of baits and such. As for changing, go into the tourney knowing where and what your boater is going to be fishing. Never go in unprepared. If I know that I will be fishing laydowns all day long, I wont think twice of having 8 rods on my deck and 6 of them have jigs tied on. If I know I'm gonna be running and gunning all day I will have 8 rods with 8 different baits tied on. Just go in with a game plan.
  16. Realized that later. Sorry
  17. Good point, a Carrot Stix medium action is stiffer than the medium action of a Croix or Loomis imo. Same goes for the mh action.
  18. I like southern rock, MG, and some other country music artists. But I can deal with the my hound dog ran away, girl dumped me, store is out of skoal, type country songs.
  19. When you are thumbing them, they will just lock down on your thumb, then you have no skin left on your knuckle. Smallies are just mean creatures.
  20. I have the pro max and the black max. Personally I like the pro one more than a revo s.
  21. Also from the reel seat back is a little short on the 7'3" for my liking.
  22. If you couldn't stand the split grip handle and ended up selling the last rod you had that came with one, then go with the Loomis. It takes a little getting used to but I have learned to love it.
  23. I'm really liking it. Good job Glenn
  24. Try living with her > He can have her if it gets her out of my hair.
