  1. Yup, migraine meds and certain foods before bed and I will have some crazy nightmares. The ones where you wake up sweating and don't know if it was real or not. Hate that feeling.
  2. White ice is a great all around color, I catch fish with it in water that has 20 feet of clarity or 6" of clarity, doesn't matter, they find it.
  3. Sprayed grass or black/blue smallie beaver. Or a Zoom Super Hog.
  4. I go 6'4" Medium with a fast tip for a skipping spinning rod. As for baitcasting, you can do it with any jig rod as long as your reel is tuned right and you have the feel of it. I like a 6'6" Medium Heavy with a fast tip. It is tough to do but once you get the feel of it, it is real easy. Its easier with a 3/8 or 5/8 than a 1/4 jig too.
  5. Merry Christmas guys.
  6. It never fails, no matter what, Shimano or St.Croix always have to come into play eventually, no matter what the topic. :
  7. All set, thank you
  8. x2 :-?
  9. This spring we'll go for a cruise in the 5.0 Forgot about the LX's, sorry. Love your car though.
  10. This is a hard one, love little baits and light line, and jigs with braid.... Ok 7'3" MH Carrot Sitx LTX, a Revo Premiere, and 15 lb. Yozuri Hybrid Ultra Soft 5 Baits... 3/8 oz Terminator Pro Top Secret in Western Melon 5/8 oz Jewel Heavy Cover Finesse Football jig-Black 5 inch *** Bait-Watermelon Chart/Tip 3/8 Strike King Chart/Chart/Chart Spinnerbait 1/4 oz. Arkie Head with 5" Yamamoto Twin Tail Hula in Watermelon Black/Gold Flake
  11. Kind of hard to do....
  12. Super Troopers, Beer Fest, Animal House, Super Bad and Knocked Up. My personal favorites. Hey Speedbead...When they find whats in the trunk "O Farva you sick sad little man! O no, it has your name on it" LMAO
  13. A want to be Clark Griswald from Christmas Vacation.
  14. mmmmm... Physics equation time Ok correct me if I'm doing this wrong not a science guy I like my History and English. v=u+at time= idk 4 seconds? multiplied by.. acceleration= free fall so gravity which is 9.8 m/s initial velocity=0 so... When he hit he was going about 117.6 ft/s so that tower was about 468 feet?
  15. Thank you very much Matt. A sexy Mattlures swimbait and some straight black Evolution Jigs. LBH see any 8' orange tubes in the other building, I'm missing a Carrot Stick that was due in today. Kind of hard to miss, lol.
  16. I don't get it; Blue & gold? Yes, I am a Notre Dame fan if that's what you're getting at. I imagine you're bitter at BASS for something, like a lot of others. But I've never heard a legitimate reason. Maybe you can enlighten me. There is not one thing FLW does better than BASS; except lie to the TBF. FLW is much better at that. Blue and gold... B.A.S.S. Shield FLW lie? Did you experience this first hand or hear a rumor? Robert Cartlige flew out to RI on a snowy night to answer all of our questions and concerns and guess what. Everything he said is true or has happened. B.A.S.S. better than FLW? Ok everyone has their opinion but just imagine this from a kids point of view. You just accomplished your biggest goal, you are about to live your dreams, when whoops, sorry. Change of plans. Robert Cartlige and the rest of the FLW/TBF staff are a great thing for bass fishing. Plus they are not liars and con-artests like B.A.S.S. people.
  17. I have the Pro Max and like it more than the Revo S. It is a steal. The Black Max is sweet for the price too.
  18. I always keep mine nice and toasty warm. One bad experience and that was all it took. Dont know if it effects it or not but I dont think it can hurt. In a late November tourney last year, my buddy left his rods in my boat, and it got down to about 20* the night before. The first hookset of the day, that graphite Criox EXPLODED. Not pretty and can be painful.
  19. X2 I start throwing them from early Fall through most of the Spring. x3, from the time the water isn't hard and slippery, until about 60-65*. Then when it drops in the fall and the feed begins, it is the go to, imo.
  20. You might get some bad batches of them every now and then but... if I'm going to do it, I will go with a Gammy EWG Superline hook.
  21. The jig is hands down my go to confidence bait, and winching a fish out of some nasty cover with heavy braid is fun to me. Just pitching, then feeling a thump and drilling them. Second:Buzzbait
  22. Since the ice has rolled in, I have become addicted. It keeps me somewhat sane.
  23. I'm with Lee, aint nothin' like the smell of 2-stroke in the morning. It's just an awsome time, I crank up the music in the truck, think about my gameplan. Then when everyone cranks the outboard and buzzes to their honey hole. After that is when the fun and challenge begins, battling the clock, fish, and each other. My personal favorite thing when I fish from the Tracker, beating guys in z21 Comanche's with 225 E-Tec's.
  24. Sexy, golden shiner?
  25. I would do the same. Something is not right :-?
