  1. At least your just looking for trailers and hooks. I got 3 reels and no rods. : Not that I'm complaining. ;D LMAO Ouch, sooooo sorry I was even complaining. Thats rough on the mind and wallet.
  2. For Kermit fishing you need to have braid imo. For abrasion resistance, strength, and no stretch on your hook sets. In a tournament I wont chance it, I like being able to winch fish when I have to. If you break them, doesnt a Legend Elite have a lifetime warranty? Bust it, get a new one, if a $300 7' MH rod cant handle braid, it wasnt build right imo.
  3. What I was thinking, you taking away that great wiggle action. :-? If you want to do it right wacky rig it with a hook with a wire weed guard and stick a nail or screw in it. That it a fall no fish can resist
  4. O ya, I would pick that up for $350, especially with the trailer. Definatley able to build a deck with the low benches too.
  5. Same here unless I'm out with 5.0 or LBH. I dont look at as work but prefishing can be a pain sometimes. Going out to LOCATE fish and canceling out areas. I also wish I wasn't so hard on myself. Even if I do great and win or do real well in a tourney I always look back on that one error and it haunts me. I always want to fish flawless, but it hasnt happened yet and I doubt it ever will.
  6. Ya they have pics of regular colored Jags in New Mexico and Arizona, but can't figure out what all these people are seeing everywhere else. It just some black cat about 4-6 feet long eating farm animals left and right, and ranging from the northeast to the desert southwest. :-?
  7. A Game can be a good or bad thing. You can get way to serious and get stressed out a lot easier imo. Have a gameplan and relax. I think when I relax I fish better then when I'm up tight and on a schedule.
  8. Monster Quest, I was watching that too, show was crazy. People are reporting 5 black mountain lion/puma/panther/jag creatures to every one regular colored mountain lion. It is a trend that started in the Plain States, especially Oklahoma, but is now spreading as far east as WV, Maryland, and southern Pennsylvania. And they are supposed to be very big. Even showed how one took down and destroyed a lama.
  9. One of my favorites is on right now, The 40 Year Old Virgin.
  10. Got a bunch of SK cranks in Sexy Shad too, most of mine are series 1's though. Also got a ton of baits from ***. And $175 in gift cards to BPS 8-)
  11. Tin

    My PB

    Nice fish. HUGE head.
  12. I think the battery will run out before you make it to 295 to get the boat Wonder if you can make it to Jefferson Blv. for work :
  13. Good point. lol, He is always around and takes advantage of the holiday season.
  14. I'm a NY Reservoir fisherman and when I opt to fish either a 4 or 5 inch Stickbait it's either Green Pumpkin or Watermelon with black flake. Yup, in the northeast, I think those are the only two colors you need.
  15. Santa and the Bait Monkey are a secret alliance...Ok I get tons and tons and tons of jigs from Santa. But guess what??? No jig trailers, so now I have to go buy them. I get lots of Bill Lewis Rat-L-Traps, so now I have to go get all new trebles. It's like the whole batteries not included scheme. :
  16. Very nice. Congrats
  17. Thanks dad. Ok hard to tell but the Pro Max is a little bigger than the Revo's but it fits your hand better imo. Probably just a personal preference but unless I have the extra $$ laying around for the STX or Premier I will go with the Pro Max.
  18. As Mr.Tony said you cant go wrong with a rttle-trap. Baclk or Blue top with chrome sides is always a go when you have the water temps you have. If not a trap, try out some of your spinnerbaits or dingers near any visible structure.
  19. I think you hit it on the head with that one. 100% right.
  20. I would rather spend the money than get frustrated and have my fingers stuck together. Definatley looking into these then doing it myself. Not worth the aggravation.
  21. If you feel comfortable or its your style, you might want to check out a medium/medium light spinning set-up for finesse fishing and a medium-heavy to heavy action casting set up for pitching and fishing heavy cover
  22. I was worried about that when I got mine too. But I have reels on them that weigh 7.5-just under 9 ounces and it doesnt through them out of balance and it feels great imo. Dont need to spend the big bucks.
  23. Spinning: For finesse fishing and little baits/light line. So can present and work lighter baits better, imo. Casting: For heavy cover and heavier baits. So YOU are in control of a fish in heavy cover and you can work heavier baits. One is not better than the other imo. 8-)
  24. Yup or you could go to braid. 30 lbs line with the diameter of 8lb line. 10 with the diameter of 2lbs line. Just for a few examples, but it can be very visible in clearer waters.
