No more hits, great stand up design though. but like you said easy to hang up. I think the brushguard is a little softer than your usuall jig. Could just be me though :-?
Airrus rods action are like that of Carrot Stix. So they are stiffer than you would think. A medium heavy action on an Airrus is like a Heavy action Croix or Loomis imo.
Just going through the new Bass Times and as usually Berkley usually has a whole 2 page article on one of their pro's talking about seasonal stuff and mentioning all Pure Fishing products.
Well, what caught my eye was the pic of Berkley PowerBait Hollow Body. Another BassTrix Paddle Tail Tube imitation. I must say thought he paint job looks really good, better than any of the other immitation Paddle Tail Tubes. Perhaps the best part is since it is Berkley, they will be pretty cheap. Anything is better than $26 a pack off ebay for 3.
Anybody seen them for sale yet???
A lot of lakes in RI are just big round windy lakes, so the weight of the bait comes into play big time. This would also be a big part of choosing a bait if you are fishing rivers with a lot of current or deeper lakes.
So "Global Warming" is acctually a good thing for us up north, I wonder if it got warm enough if Florida Strain Largemouth would take?
O ya, and it is currentley 15.4 degrees out right now, in the warmest part of the day. :
Sorry to hear that Tokyo. Depressing, 4 pound largies :'(
I'm in western RI near the CT line. I fish from the CT River east. Fish a lot on Amos, Pachaug, Glasgo, Hopeville, Beach, and others.
It was 4.6 degrees this morning when I left my house at 3am for UPS. And the wind is blowing pretty good so it feels much colder. And is supposed to be much colder tomorrow. >
The town I live in just redid a bridge on my home lake. So the fish will have a few months to settle in before I can fish it. There used to be bank of riprap and chunk rock on one side of it about 10 feet wide and stretched into 10-12 feet of water. And would always hold one or two quality keepers. But it is now about 20 feet wide and more debris in the water. So hopefully I wil be able to bang out a limit from there.
If your not in the BCS Championship Bowl, then you might as well be in the Via.gra Erection Bowl.
I also don't understand why Division 1 college football doesn't have a playoff system (every other Division of college football has playoffs). These bowl games are stupid. WVU could probably be good enough to win the Championship, but because of that loss to PITT, was never given an oppurtunity to prove it. These idiotic bowls are the main reason I am not a fan of college football. Now college basketball on the other hand, nothing is better then March Madness.
Ya the amount of bowls are a little crazy and they do need a playoff system. Too bad they couldnt have a March Madness type system. :
Ok Giants win (If they play like they did against the Pats), Skins win (They are playing with a lot of emotion and played very well against Dallas), Jags win (Because Pittsburg is just , Titans win (Barely lost last time against the Bolts and the Chargers are not so hot in the playoffs, heard Chris Burman say they were 0-3 in there last 3 home playoff games).
Yeah, I know what you mean. They also had packs that only came w/ one skirt but had an extra willow or oklahoma blade.
Sorry, dont own any pink ones LOL
Lol, I see you live in PA. One of my buddies from Washington won the Bassmaster Jr. World Championship in Pittsburgh with on a Strike King 1/4 oz. double willow with a pink skirt. He was paired with KVD, and KVD told him to tell everyone when he was on stage that it was purple not pink so no one would throw one come Classic time. He won by 4 ounces with a whopping 1 lbs. 6 ounce smallie ;D
Hey Speedbead, I bought a few of those. Why would you take a name after a bait that comes with pink skirts? Atleast everyone I ever saw came with a pink skirt with an extra white one ;D
