  1. In my opinion, bad idea, very bad idea. Don't do it, not only will it probably be a headache, but also very EXPENSIVE. Between shipping it, fixing it up, and all the time and energy, just keep checking the paper, craigslist.com, and other sources. Do yourself a favor and stay local.
  2. All I could think of was Milton from Office Space. ;D
  3. Lol, I think they are usually in the winter/letharagic stage.
  4. The Plastic Pourer's from RI have finesse worm molds and Paca Craw molds on the way 8-) Be posting pics soon.
  5. Thought someone was acctually going to quit bass fishing when I read the title of the thread. Mine is no secret, Inner Mallets Bay, Champlain, VT.

    CDL

Congrats, I have seen the training booklets and such and can't believe all the things you have to know.
  7. After seeing all the reviews on it and not seeing any real complants I'm definatley going to have to give the Berkley 100% a shot next year. It almost seems too good to be true though :
  8. Ever drive by a McDonalds or fast food place and have to stop even though you just ate.... Reaction Strike
  9. LOL, Never thought of it like that but very true.
  10. I have not used the Sizmic yet but I have used the Ribbits, Cane Toads, Buzz Frogs, and Horny Toads. If the frog is on top being reeled in and making a disturbance the bass will find it and destory it. So imo a soft plastic frog is a soft plastic frog is a soft plastic frog. Hook up ratios were all about the same too.
  11. iI did it up on Champlain, when we had come across some smallies holding on a deep flat. I had heard of it and instead of tying up a drop shot or try to fish a spinnerbait that deep I tried it. I already had the c-rig tied up so I just put on the crank at the end of it. I found when reeling in the crank along with the strike that usually hooks the fish. Not much of a need for a hookset. As for slack line, I dont know because Smallies like it reeled as fast as humanly possible. Never changed the hooks either.

    fat free shad

***.com should have them next week, or try ebay. Citrus and Chartruese shad are pictured right next to each other on ***.com and there is a big difference in the color.
  13. Ya, everyone sells them for 250-260.
  14. 300-Movie will blow your mind
  15. Best Bang for your buck imo... Plastics:*** Spinnerbaits:Strike King But stickbaits, beaver craws, and the finesse worms are all you need to catch fish.
  16. Ramp? I got a 6', rock filled gap between the trees... ;D Lol, good point. And one of us always falls pulling up the boat and gets crushed.
  17. I would like to see it constructed better as mentioned above. But I do like it. I got a bunch of them cheap over the summer for $7.99 so for the price I can't complain too much.

    NFL Play Offs

No matter what I think we will have one of the better more exciting weekends of football in recent memory. There are some great match-ups. Dallas will loose because of the "Curse of Jessica Simpson" so it will be the Pac from the NFC. The winner of the Jags/Pats game will be the winner of the SuperBowl though.
  19. LOL, you guys are all spoiled. I think the only way to get to a boat ramp in RI or CT is to drive down a long, bumpy, washed out, pot hole filled road. When I see a nice paved road leading to a boat ramp, I dont know what to do, it is such a smooth ride.
  20. Trust LBH's adivce, he is really good at drilling those stumps. ;D
  21. Clear chug bugs and spooks
  22. After looking back after all the days I fished, all the fish I caught, the tournaments, and everything else fishing related I did. I still think the best two things of 2007 for me was the C.A.S.T. for Kids event down at the Hatchery and the Paralized Veterans Tournament in September. These events really make you look at things differently and you remember every little think that happened. Even though we can only fish about 8 or 9 months out of the year I fished about 200 days this year. I dont even remember a lot of those trips or how many fish I caught. But the CAST and PVA event I remember every thing like it was yesterday. Every conversation, laugh, fish, and the feelings I had. These 2 events were the highlights of my year.
  23. School, Bass Resource, as you said organize the tackle, pour plastics, and make jigs.
  24. Darn, have you seen any with a flat area near the eye so you could put a Yamamoto internal tube weight on it? I have not messed around or seen the bigger models so I'm not sure if I could make it work.
