Yup, they like to do that. In Pittsburgh in 2005 in all the stuff that didn't air on TV they had Trip Weldon explain to the audience 3 times on the final day what would happen in the event of a tie. They love to play games with peoples heads.

This is one tough puzzle to figure out. I will usually just find a creek or backwater area with some grass and timber and break out the jig-rod. But at certain times when those tides are coming in or going out I will fish the main river.
