I would say the deals and warranties on the E-Tec's these days are hard to beat, even thougn I'm a Merc guy. If you have a good (the key part to puzzle) service center around, you won't have many issues.

I keep in touch with friends through Facebook, I like reading and learning online rather than in books, and I visit this forum, and my states TBF forum. Thats about it. The internet is the best tool around to communicate and learn.

I can run up a cold muddy creek and pitch a jig and fish a spinnerbait around brush. Then go out into the main lake and drop-shot or shakey head in deep clear water.

I witnessed some have this problem in a tourney on Sunday and a few minutes later is happened to me. One time my buddy had just tied on a LC trap, and first cast it busted in the spool and went flying, then a little while later it happened to me. I was wondering the same, could it be the cold weather. We were also both using fluoro. :-/
