Maybe they just went to their dealer that morning and didn;t have time to go home and stash it in their dressers... : ;D
Seriously, this just adds to my impression and thoughts on how high school is becoming more and more of a joke. In my high school they just wanted to pass you so you could move on and get out of their hands. Some school systems around here are "raising the bar" for some students to graduate but not others. Just pass four years of English, Algebra 2, intro to Chem, U.S. History 1 and 2, and you graduate. And if you have to take these classes as a senior, they put you in a class with a joke of a teacher so there is pretty much no way you can fail as long as you show up half the time.
Then they wonder why so many kids who graduate from their school system drop out mid-way through their first year of college. Half the kids that I graduated with that were in the top 5% out of the 440 kids in my graduating class are not even in college anymore, quite sad. They will make you believe you are smarter than you really are, then bam. Reality knocks them on their butts.
