You can always keep it simple with what lures you choose. But some of the time the pattern and presentation will be anything but simple and you might have to go in depth with it. Sometimes those fish will only hit the jig if it is presented a certain way (fall rates, and how it is worked) and will mouth the fluke/hard jerkbait if you are fishing it one way but inhale it if you are fishing it another. Is keeping it simple good, yes. But can it also hurt you, yes.

Maybe they just went to their dealer that morning and didn;t have time to go home and stash it in their dressers... : ;D Seriously, this just adds to my impression and thoughts on how high school is becoming more and more of a joke. In my high school they just wanted to pass you so you could move on and get out of their hands. Some school systems around here are "raising the bar" for some students to graduate but not others. Just pass four years of English, Algebra 2, intro to Chem, U.S. History 1 and 2, and you graduate. And if you have to take these classes as a senior, they put you in a class with a joke of a teacher so there is pretty much no way you can fail as long as you show up half the time. Then they wonder why so many kids who graduate from their school system drop out mid-way through their first year of college. Half the kids that I graduated with that were in the top 5% out of the 440 kids in my graduating class are not even in college anymore, quite sad. They will make you believe you are smarter than you really are, then bam. Reality knocks them on their butts.

Yea Dan, as soon as I saw them I wanted most of them. I like my War Eagle's but those things are too nice looking to resist. Just wish every company would stop putting red strands in spinnerbait skirts for that "bleeding effect". Just ruins it a little for me.

How would you represent sponsors and expect to bring in clients if you are not at your best? This is just to make people better imo. Certain things do go a little far (I'm an _____), but it is not to make the person feel like crap or anything. It is to make yourself better. When you don't have an open mind, get all defensive, or come into the thread knowing it all and still post, that is when things get ugly.

Leaving can be the worst part. We got stuck on the Throg's Neck for a while and the traffic in southwest Connecticut was awful. The only thing I did't like were some real crazies down there that hang in the subway stations, pretty scary. Penn Station also smells like a sewage treatment facility.

Just make sure it doesn't climb up your pant leg at night while you are sleeping and bite you in a not so good spot.

Yup, prepare to spend some money on food. A burger at the ESPNZone place will cost you a bunch. But it was the thickest burger I have ever ate. I just wish they would go over to B&J instead of that Hagen-Daz crap. There are Hagen-Daz every 10 feet.
