  1. I would rather cut myself with a dull razor countless times then jump in a pool of acid than even try to think or understand this thread....
  2. That the NFL is over and it's time for all college basketball and hockey stuff on Sportscenter....

    Gran Torino

You forgot to add, "With that being said it is time to lock this thread." ;D Goodnight Irene.... :
  4. x1000000 In night tournies, I will pound any beaches (with actual beach sand) or swimming areas. Seems like bigger largies will roam them at night for some reason.... :-/ Doesn't matter if it is flat calm, windy, has a light on the beach shining onto the water, full moon/ no moon. Can always find bigger fish in these areas at night around here... :-/
  5. g Yep And we have the same birthday.... :-/
  6. Yup, I trim them until they are about 1/4" below the hook. I like them as compact as possible.
  7. motorguide Yup, there's your issue.... ;D
  8. It's all that coffee milk he has been drinking.
  9. Turkey, bacon, and Swiss, on wheat with Sweet Onion sauce. But a chicken/bacon/swiss/honey mustard on wheat from Quizno's is better.
  10. No Matt he will never be a Swamp Yankee. The only way to describe him talking is like someone attempting to talk while having marbles in their mouth with a southern accent.
  11. Seaguar Invisx is one of the best around, FC Sniper is a close second in my book. Don't even waste time with co-polymers.

    gulp alive

Last year I beat up my boaters who were drop-shotting Gulp and Gulp Alive junk. More trouble than what it is worth imo. It is no different than anything else. Smallies are super aggressive anyway and the ones you drop-shot for in 15'+ don't see too many baits anyway. You put a 3" bait drop-shotted within 5' of a smallie it will eat it.

  15. Respectfully disagree good sir.... They have the team now, and had it last year. INJURIES Even though Rocco can't play everyday because of his illness he is one of their better free-agent pickups in the last couple seasons...
  16. Living Rubber = Clear or heavily pressured lakes for me
  17. Just about any shakey head is better then an Ikey Head. ;D Where you having issues with keeping fish on with the Spot Remover? Pro or Peg?
  18. Definatley the Berkley Shakey Worm because of the scent and it stands perfect on a Spot Remover head. Can't wait to try the new Slim Shakey Worms they are coming out with...super-finesse 8-)
  19. Firefightn, As you can tell with the casting Carrots it is all rod and not too much handle so I think he 6'7 medium spinning would be fine because the medium Carrot has the same qualities as a medium heavy Croix or Loomis imo.
  20. I was on their field staff for a couple years and they make a great product for the cost. The Camo Escent has unmatched strength and abrasion resistance but has a little bit bigger diameter than other lines. It is still the only mono I really use and trust. One of the better monos on the market. As for their flouro, it was ok. There are much better choices imo.
  21. Conrats!...... So now we need to plan a bachelor party. Muddy, do you still have those girls numbers?
  22. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D xtra onion!!! Senko 77 knows the devastation those can cause from Weinorama....
  23. You are forgetting the legendary Sacandaga Smallie...should be in a league of its own.

    jig size

You'll be fine. Just remember if you are using a jig with a light wire or no weedguard you don't need to drill them on your hooksets. But if using a jig with a heavy weedguard you need to give them a good whack. And at the same time remember you are only using 12 pound test. Just buy some 30 pound Power Pro that has the diameter of 6 pound test and have a blast... Then you dont have to worry.

    Tubes

I like using tiny tubes around 2.5" in green pumpkin on 1/8 - 1/4 oz heads depending on depth and wind. Hard to find good heads for them though. These are my go to prespawn/spawn/post-spawn baits. Just something special about it. Think it looks much more realistic in clear water compared to those 3-4" tubes they see none-stop.
