  2. Have you tried posting this on NCANGLER.COM Someone there may be able to help you
  3. Two women were sitting quietly, minding their own business.

  6. > > > My daughter was flying from Houston to N.Y. with our 2 1/2 year old grandson. For some reason the airlines had them sitting in different areas but told her to have someone change seats with her. The first person she approached said" I don't like the middle seat" and the second refused because "I'm comfortable here." Is it me or did she run into 2 complete buttheads?
  7. Strike King and Daves Tournament Tackle.
  8. Nearest res. is 4 miles. The closest lake is 33 miles but there are 8 others within a 1 1/2 hour drive
  9. The National D-Day Memorial in Bedford,Virginia may be one of the best kept secrets ever. I found it by accident and visited it over the weekend. It is in Bedford, a small town which had 19 of 30 men serving in the Army killed on the beaches of France on D-Day. If you ever get the chance it is definately worth visiting or you can get a look at it at dday.org
  10. :)I was fortunate to be in Washington, D.C for the dedication of the WW2 Memeorial. It was awsome to be surrounded by all those HEROS. The town of Gainsville,Texas just north of Dallas has a Medal of Honor parade every year which is not publisized. It is the only parade of this kind in the country. I found out about it because one the the people I was with in Viet Nam takes part in it. I'm planning to be there next year.
  11. Much as I love beer I never take any on my boat. Only water or soda.
  12. With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person, which almost went unnoticed last week. Larry LaPrise, the man who wrote "The Hokey Pokey" died peacefully at age 93. The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin. They put his left leg in and then the trouble started.
  13. The company I work for makes the valves elbows and shut offs under your sink and behind the toilet. California passed a law that all new valves, elbows and shut offs that water passes through must be made of lead free brass. The brass we presently use has .1% lead but it is costing thousands to retool for the hard brass. With the state going broke supporting illegals you would think they would have something more important to concentrate on. > >
  14. This may not be the right place for this post but here goes. I received my copy of the post classic issue yesterday in which there was a nice write up about Kim Bain-Moore but she was not included in the photo gallery of contenders. Anyone else notice this? > > > >
